I'm a 19 year old male currently growing my hair out in the hopes of donating it. Its currently about 13 inches long so I'm gonna let it keep growing for a bit so that when I pull it into a pony tail it will be the right length requirement! I hope to spread the love just like this awesome dude!!

I've been growing my hair since august 2007, so 3 years now, idk sometimes I get tired of it but I dont feel that its time yet to get rid of it, my plan was to cut it in about 4 years after im done with college before I go into my FBI career, what do you guys think

@chevon1920 yes he is and his hair is actually curly so it is going to look shorter when he washes it.

I'm going to be donating my hair tomorrow and its my 1st time. I will be giving 12 inches. I have never had short hair before.And I'm a bit scared of what i might look like but I know my hair will grow back fast . Its easy to see that donating is the right thing to do. I just wanted to thank you for this video it helped calm my nerves. And I hope to keep donating as long as i possible can.

I have a haircut appointment tomorrow after school. I'm a junior in highschool. I just put my hair in pony tails and measured all SIX of them at 10 inches. I already talked to who's cutting it, and she's gonna mail it in for me. I really hope I help someone out there. I've had my hair for long enough, it's someone else's turn.

I had to cut my long hair not even a month ago for a new job. Being able to donate it for a good cause made me feel much better about it.  I hope to grow it again when I get the first opportunity. The man did have nice hair though, but he didn't loose that much.

My mom was diagnosed with cancer in 2003-we lost her in 2005.When she went through chemo,she lost all her hair.We bought her a nice,very nice looking wig made of real hair.Made all the difference in her self esteem.You are appreciated,dude.Thanks.Keep growing that hair-peace,bro.

That guy had some really, really beautiful long hair. I understand his compassion to donate it, but it really is a shame when a guy loses his beautiful long mane, because there are so few guys willing to take the time to grow their hair long, and long hair on a guy is really special.

Well, at least he didn't cut it all off to a buzz or headshave. Almost every guy I've seen with long hair who donates his long hair to Locks of Love goes all the way short or bald. He still kept adequate length.
