@studiolabs For sound, I'd say the the V-Pianos modelling has the advantage, but that's subjective. This coming from an AvantGrand N1 owner. For the touch and action, hands down the AvantGrands blow the V-Piano/Grand out of the water. I think for a piano of this quality, Roland should've developed a wooden action or at least licensed an acoustic piano company to build them an action. You're talking the same PHA III Ivory action inside a $2,000 FP-7F is the same as inside this $20,000 piano.
I already loved the capabilities of the V-Piano, now with this speaker modeling to alter the positioning of sounds relative to the "soundboard" for reflection, it's unbelievable!
I liked modifying the strings to triple silver all the way up, and tweaking the hammer felt. What the V-Piano can do has yet to be fully explored.

We all know that you can never replace the real thing, but there's no doubt that's a wonderful sounding digital piano. Hats off to Roland !!!

Sounds close to the real thing! Just like that upright piano in The Bucket of Blood Saloon in Virginia City, NV.
