  • We'll remember you foreeeeeeeeever Eeeeeeeeeddie!!! (8) :( hahaha love that line

    Jersey city lol

  • Superfantastic!

  • awesome movie

  • eddie lives here in the peg baby.

  • this was always my favorite song from the movie. it sucked me in instantly. to open a movie with a song this catchy,I knew the other music in the movie would be amazing <3. such a great cast of people too.

  • This movie is a Jewel.

  • Paul Williams is a great song writer. He does not get the

    credit he deserves.

  • @phantom2976 He also did a great job as the voice of The Penguin in BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES. He is a very underrated actor/singer/song writer.

  • I never got "Rocky Horror Picture Show" Could'nt see what all the fuss was about.

Ah but "The Phantom of the Paradise" That's a different story. I first saw this film

When I was serving in the national Guards in the 1970's. You know a movie

is good when you leave the theater and it haunts you later. That is what

happened to me. I could'nt get this film out of my head. I just had to see

it again. It was first released in 74, then re-released in 75 and 76.

I told everyone I could about it.

  • good memories , manuel , kiko Cissy for you guys!!!

  • this is my childhood, I remember watching this with my mum, I know every word of every song!

  • Excellent movie... I wonder what Mr. Williams is up to these days. He just kinda disappeared after the 70's :1

  • 220 VIEWS BUT ONLY 4 DISLIKES ....SWEEEEET

  • I love this song and I love this film. One of the best ever. It's a shame "Scarface" and "Rocky Horror" got the attention. This film is sublime. I discovered it when I was a teenager (early 90s) and taped it off the TV (twice as I remember). I loved it instantly!

  • American Graffiti was responsible for the nostalgia wave, not the Juicy Fruits

  • I would give this a thumbs up but I'm waiting for Swan's approval before I do.

  • The Juicy Fruits single-handedly gave birth to the nostalgia wave in the 70's.

  • Que heavy!

  • i love this film in 1974 !! i love the juicy fruits !!! and Brian depalmas !!!!

  • PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE, 1776 and REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA are the best musicals ever!!! I didn't list them in any order.

  • Suicide Rocks.!!!

  • juicy fruit !!! i love this song ! it's awesome !!!

  • this song rocks, no video from the original movie ?

  • the juicy Fruits SUCK. lol

  • So great movie ! I love this song ! Souvenir !!

  • awesome i love it *_*!!

  • I'm back in 1975 again

  • To Warren Beach!!!!!!!!!!

  • I found the lyrics to this copied in a notebook and the date said "December 30th 1981"

This notebook I found in my house has a lot of songs I've never heard and songs that I love just copied down in painfully neat handwriting.

It's a notebook my dad wrote in when he first visited the US and was still learning english X)

  • @MsHappyCinnamon your dad has good taste.hope he didnt name you beef.

  • @bubbah671 No, My name is Joyce X)

I still need to watch this thing.

  • Paul Williams top tunesmith.

  • If only life was about music, the world would be a better place.

  • remember the first i watched this i knew just from this song that i would love this film

  • My 8-year old daughter wanted to watch this movie.. She has probably watched it over 30 times in the last couple of weeks and can sing along with all of the songs... KNOWING ALL OF THE WORDS!

Strange thing, though... we don't even live in Winnipeg!

  • @jlowry71 hi dad.

  • @laneylowry lol

  • @jlowry71 You have the coolest daughter ever,

  • @jlowry71 Does she do the accent too? That's great!

  • "Then another Mister... soon a baby Sister..Momma kept Swingin.... Eddie kept Singin". Fantastic Song/Sound Track

  • I have the soundtrack and this is far from the best song on it. Still, I love it regardless. I find myself singing it around my apartment a lot.

  • It reminds me of Eddie from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

  • @maratag did u try HMV, CD Plus?

  • @maratag Amazon, my friend :)

  • This song reminds me of something in Grease, only if Grease didn't suck.

  • i love phantom of the paradise and my name is no body

  • What is this accent he tries to do at 1:28 on? I can't tell if it's puerto rican or transylvanian.
