I hate to say it, but the artichokes aren't all that bad. I'm Italian and use the water packed artichokes in the same way. Of course, I use seasoned Italian breadcrumbs, but the theory is the same. Couldn't imagine cooking artichokes just for this.m THIS is what semi homemade should be. Using something like a perfectly fine canned ingredient to save time.

I love her top. It's so feminine. I have tried this recipe and if you like artichokes, this is a great side dish to do. My guests really enjoyed them. They are a good accompaniment to pratically any meal.

Oh fuck, how on earth do you "pat dry" a CANNED ITEM that has been sitting in liquid for it's entire existence?!?! Do you wring out the artichokes then deep fry them and somehow they cook up crispy?
