@MeAGoodGirll for asian, they tend to be on the lower end of the average normal size of the western standard, it's perfectly normal, as long as they are healthy and full of spirit, they should be ok. She was always under weight and on the low end of the chart but her head size is in the normal range. She is 6 now and is still very healthy.

I think you've done a great job with her. Babies this age barely know how to walk, let alone go down some stairs. I think that she's a Big Girl for learning on her own. we are usually right beside her when she does this to make sure we are ready to catch her if she falls. but she has proven to us that she is very careful, and did not fall for the time she does this, so we let her go down by herself. the only time she ever fall from this stair was when she has learned to run, she tumbled down the stairs, landed on the flat landing and was laughing, gave us a scare though!!!!!!
