Btw. I wondered why David doesn´t sing here, then I listened to the demo, it´s also availble at Youtbe and it has 3 verses instead of two. Maybe the final version was shortened?
FYI: John Hutchinson and Bowie reconnected in late 1968, when Hutchinson was looking for work in London and phoned his former bandleader for ideas. Bowie asked Hutchinson to be part of his short-lived folk-rockish trio 'Feathers', which also included Bowie's girlfriend of the time, Hermione Farthingale. Hutchinson and Farthingale were both on "Ching-A-Ling" recorded in October 1968. Feathers broke up when Bowie and Farthingale ended their relationship.
David Bowie used the harmonies in this song for his later "Saviour machine" on The man who sold the world (the trumpet part). I love how he re-uses some of his ideas!
Don't let me stay.
Don't let me stay, my logic says burn, so send me away

Quite similar to Saviour Machine at some parts. I like early material like this.

@kle0s
It's Hermione Farthingale--she, Bowie, and John Hutchinson formed a trio named "Feathers" in the 60s.
