I did the cerimony and just when it was half way through Fawkes blurted out "THERE IS SAFETY IN MINDFULLNESS". From then on no one i talked to could speak, i would see text their mouth would move, but no sound... i could still hear Fawkes though, i had to restart Fallout 3. Great job Fawkes!!! Also has anyone else had trouble listening to the "Mercellas last words" tape in the "Black heart" mission in point lookout? When ever i try to listen to it fallout 3 crashes. i am playing pc ver 1.7 US.

I killed a dude near little lamp light i guess, he had a record that showed the position of the oasis, early in the game.

i found this place by killing a guy in a church and got his sniper rifle. he was an outcast i think.

if you listen to GNR.Three Dog will mansion oasis and it will be marked on your map.

it will be marked i had the position early in the game and when you listen to GNR a message will appear that says that you theres a new position on your map.

I was really dissapointed with this quest. I spend agess finding oassis, and then i finally get there, accidently hit the tree with my shish kebab, and burnt the god dam thing to a crisp! Quest Complete.... FAIL

No, it is the Oasis quest, but you have to be involved with BOS

you have to go to oasis...if you hear offten galaxy nesw radio you get a point on the map...or you search at the top of the map...easy to find:D

its at the ege of ur map to the south just keep going whe nu hit the edge of the map turn east and keep goin that way oasis is right there

I just ended up making him spread and convinced him that the Treeminders NEED him. Least my way he can grow out into the wasteland and perhaps make it green again. I know it won't happen IN game, but it made me feel good.

You get a helmet after completing the quest from one of them and there is a dead guy in the tunnel that got the suit so no need for killing..
