  • Anyway why are people complaining about if Macedonians are REALLY Greeks! WHO CARES!

  • Are all of you people commenting here so insecure about your heritage that you make up propaganda about other countries!

  • Also "Greece" comes from Latin! Latin was around well before 1821 but then again you got it from the (probably) biased website!

To make things clear, I am Australian!

  • Btw, what are some naughty greek songs? She made me laugh ;)

  • This is Nana Mouskouri, not Alexander the Great. In my opinion, she is greater than him!

  • Opa,Nanaki,na mas ziseis!!

  • Comment removed

  • poooooooso vourlo mporei na eisai nana..? pethanes h akoma...? oust....skatokasela gamw to spiti sou...oligisth twn oligistwn...

  • @xXPlayer112Xx actually no one knows where its from. Greeks claim it, Turks claim it, Albanians claim it. Its just a meditterenean song

Nitu Makedonska, Nitu Grcka pesna ne e, NI Turska pesna e!

Nor Macedonian, Nor Greek, Nor Turkish!

THE SONG BELONGS TO THE WORLD! :) ONE LOVE!

  • It's such a beautiful song :-) it doesn't depend whether it is from greek or macedonia ...

  • Was Alexander the Great not from Macedonia, and is Alexander not known for being a Greek?

Regardless, Greece will always be known as being the true cradle of Western Civilization....... and no, I am not a Greek, I am from Scotland

  • @SuperCulloden

It is well established that Alexander III was Macedonian. Together with his father Philip II, KING OF MACEDONIA, he defeated the Hellenes and ended their reign.

"Greece" is an 18th century invention precisely for the West to be able to define itself (King Otto of Bavaria is the first King of "Greece"). Greece never existed before the 1821 while Macedonia has existed for over 2500 years.

  • @Macedon51

Whether the name Greece existed before 1821 or not, makes no difference, the great Greek City States existed for thousands of years before that date, giving we in the Western World 'Democracy', something unheard of before that.

It was those same Greek States who stood against the mighty Persian Empire tyrants: just think of what the World would be like today if they had not done so., you for example would be in slavery.

Again.. Greece is the cradle of Western Civilization.

  • It makes all the difference and sure the name matters! The "Athenian city states" were fundamentally different from the neighboring kingdom Macedonia -- different ethnicity, language and customs. In any event, the ancient Hellenes had no connection to today's "Greeks" which are simply a Western invention. All the while the modern Macedonians are descendants of the ancient Macedonians. The genes do not lie, genetic analysis prove it with 99.99% certainty.

  • @Macedon51 And just who's DNA samples have you used as reference? You telling us here that you have somehow found the remains of Alexander the Great, or his contemporaries, and compared the DNA from those remains to that of today's "macedonians"???? What about Aristotle? Did he speak today's amcedonian language? If he did, why did he WRITE all of his works in old greek? And, as everybody knows, he was Alexander's compatriot, teacher and mentor. Yor "history" sucks!!!!!

  • @Macedon51 actually, you don't need to learn history. It wouldn't help! What you need is aGOOD psychiatrist! After some 5-10 years of treatment, maybe (just maybe) you could get rid of sick, miserable complexes and start realizing what nonsense you're trying to sell. Alexander the Great WAS Macedonian, that's right. But those Macedonians were one of Hellenic tribes. Macedonians of today's FYRM are Bulgarian gypsies on Serbian land, and have NOTHING to do with Alexander the Great!

  • Whether you are from Scotland or England is immaterial, your false claims are object of discussion. Alexander was a Macedonian King, that is a fact, and as such no primary historical document labeled him a Hellene. That is only right because Macedonians and Hellenes were two different peoples and the primary sources unambiguously confirm that. So what you claim is not only factually false, but you are projecting it to a newly invented country in 1821, Greece.

  • Why every nation is fighting with the other in YouTube ? funny !

  • e monkeydonias this song say for gypsy ... and stupid monkeydonians YES you are gypsy .... no macedonia .... you are gypsy xaxaxaxaxaaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa .... is your song xaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxaxa

  • We Serbs know this song as macedonian....Macedonians are first neighbours and brothers in tradition of serbian people although they were under serbian power after balcan wars...

  • My dearest skopjan friends... I could only but now understand that apart from our homeland names you like to steal our songs too... Well done!!! You are the best thieves around the world!!! Please don't even dare to put Hellas in your mouth!!! When Hellas had civilisation, you were up to the trees speaking each other using screams!!!! So please give us a break and shut up!!!!

  • you can see from her body movement that this song is not greek... in my country, Macedonia, people stand up and dance on this song, course our bodies cannot stay so fixed if you feel this one!

  • THIS SONG IS MACEDONIAN .. Stupid greeks..

  • @Adonis251 TURKISH...YOU MEAN! DEAR BOY...

  • @JordanovZ All you Slavic people come from the one country: Yugoslavia- you have been the peasant people of Europe of thousands of years, and Serbia, Croatia and FYROM were all part of it. Don't go trying to claim other people's culture, especially the Greeks- who's culture has been around for over 2000 years!!!

  • All you Slavic people come from the one country: Yugoslavia- you have been the peasant people of Europe of thousands of years, and Serbia, Croatia and FYROM were all part of it. Don't go trying to claim other people's culture.

  • sooo...this is macedonian originaal song,If someone wants to hear macedonian version this is it "STANI MOME DA ZAIGRAS" why you people from greece are so angry to us macedonians......you are crazy!!!

  • for a start, the WORD macedonia derives from Greek, which means land of the tall. If the word is Greek, why should a bunch of "barbarians" want it for their own. By the word barbarian, I am referring to the ancient greek meaning of uneducated foreigner/ or foreigner with no written language.

  • @zenSk28 what next? The "opa" is "Slavo-Macedonian" ?

  • @zenSk28 Apparenly you are describing youself with your vulgar outburst.

  • Macedonian song from the macedonian people!!!!!!!!NOT GREEK!!!!!!

    PROUD TO BE MACEDONIAN!!!!!!!

  • @4aknat Haha, Macedonia is a Greek State- it has been called that for the past 200 years and Alexamder the Great spread the Greek language and culture all the way to asia! So you just called yourself a Greek, you stupid slav!

  • As for the modern issues with Macedonia. If parts of a country break away, doesn't the largest part retain the name? Ancient Macedonia today lies in 3 countries with 53% being in Greece, along with its capital Salonica, and the rest falling in today's Albania, and FYROM. Isn't it COMMON SENSE that the biggest part retain the name?

This view is coming from a non Greek/turk/slav/albanian etc..........

  • @angeliqua1000

MACEDONIA is split in 4 countries grecce bulgaria albania and MACEDONIA

  • @angeliqua1000

MACEDONIA is split in 4 countries greec bulgaria albania and REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA

  • @MACEDONIAbitola cool story bro

  • Just to clarify. In Ancient times Greece was a bunch of "city states" but collectively called themselves Hellenes (they spoke the same language, same religion, and most customs). Macedonia was a city state like many others, but collectively joined forces in times of trouble and joy and became one.

  • and greeks are saying that is greeks as a matter of fact MACEDONIA is a lot older than grecce if you dont belleve me find me a map older than 500 years that says greeks but you can c maps of MACEDONIA in every country that has a map from the past that goes backmore than 2000 years!!!

    LONG LIVE MACEDONIA

    GOD AND COUNTRY

  • @MACEDONIAbitola Yes: Macedonia the GREEK STATE! Because you people have no idea when it comes to culture or politics- you wouldn't understand that Macedonia (the GREEK state) has been on the map for 1000's of years- because that's how long Greek culture has been around! Don't even bother messing with us- you don't even have a history, nor a culture.

  • well i c greeks are saying that they own the name macedonia but they dont own the name macedonia MACEDONIA was 1 whole 100 years ago but was ocupied after the first balkan war betwen greeks bulgarians and serbs when they deafeted the turkish rule in the balkans.

  • this is a greek-turkish song .. it's also exist serbian and makedonian versions too... but the song is greco-turkish one. the turkish from greece created it ...:)

  • PROUD TO BE A GREEK

  • I would not be too proud if I were you. Greece conducted a genocide against Macedonians. It does not recognize any minorities TODAY, discriminates openly. It has no separation of church and state...

  • oh please thrill me with your accumen!

  • You and your country are not fit or worthy to talk about Greece. And for your information Greece never conducted any genocide against Macedonians because Macedonia IS and will forever be GREEK you retard!!!!

  • @aegeanpisces really what world do you live in? I guess the greek war in 1948 did not happen?

Why dont you show me a map before 1913 when Macedonia was greek.

    I m waiting

  • @APMUMBP Fuck you!! Ancient Macedonians spokes greek language, you speak bulgarian language. Never existed macedonian language. Show me one word in ancient "macedonian" language.

  • @Commentakias I know you want to fuck me you are gay. Nothing new there. If I speak bulgarian why were the 2 people that helped form the language from Solun living in Ohrid.

Oh another lie down the drain. HA HA.

    Bye african!!!

  • @APMUMBP hahahahaaaaaaa, Yes i come to fuck you, because before i fuck you, i fucked your mother. Ask her. Not solun idiot, THESSALONIKI that's correct name. I'm still wait to show me one evidence idiot slovobulgarian piece of shit.

  • @Commentakias listen you gay fuck. Go fuck your african boys. Solun was and Solun will be!!! One evidence how about picking Macedonian apart in 1913.

WHy dont you show me a map of when Macedonia was greek before 1913 if you have evidence!!!

  • Macedonia before 1913 was occupied by the Ottomans idiot, don't you know that? See some map in 350 BC idiot. Really have you an idea what means Thessaloniki? Im sure NOT.Where are you Monkeydonski when Thessaloniki built by Kassandros?

watch?v=ldQDa9WLEVU Take my dick now in your mouth myASSedonian.

  • @Commentakias Yes but greece was not. And if egejska Macedonia was greek then the greeks would have freed it. Why didnt they free it? Why did Macedonians fight for an independent Macedonian state? Why didnt they fight for bulgaria serbia or greece. Love the way you explain my point.

Now since I m not african from athens i wont talk about gay stuff but i will let you enjoy ur boy's dick you just sucked!!!

  • there is a confusion here, Greece doesnt claim your country of course greeks lived there in the ancient time as they lived all around mediterenean and black sea, but when we say macedonia is greek we mean the northen part of greece there where olympus mountain is there were aritotle philip and alexander the great lived and called home there were a greek tribe lived and worshiped greek gods had greek names were taken part in olympic games (only greeks could) were speaking greek and writing greek

  • there are evidence so you cannot question that naming your state macedonia is an insult to the real macedonia that's why we object but i think i am wasting my time because when you say these bullshit with africa and staff i suppose your IQ level isn't higher than a monkey's

  • ....don't forget to read the comments

  • You are not quite right ... They don't speak Bulgarian, but it's very close to it!! In the 1960s,Tito hired linguists to CREATE a 'Macedonian' language, derived from Bulgarian. He needed it to be different from Bulgarian (but Slavic enough) in order to give them a Yugoslav, rather than a Bulgarian identity.

I mean, this is no secret ... Everybody knows that that FYROM is a forged nation ... and that Macedonia is GREEK!

Commentakias ... don't let them get to you ;)

  • @SanjaBG13 Derived from Bulgarina?I thought You,being Serbian, should know better.Either way, they are the only nation who took the name after the teritory that they arrived upon...utter nonsense

  • @The76zoran Yes Zorane, DERIVED from Bulgarian! Any idiot who speaks Serbian can clearly see the similarities between Bulgarian and Macedonian ... Primarily because they can understand each other extremely well! The fact that I am Serbian has nothing to do with this ... these are HISTORICAL FACTS and believe me, I make it my business to know these things! And, the territory of Macedonia was long inhibited before these so-called Macedonian arrived there and "nationally" adapted to the land!!!

  • @SanjaBG13 I was actuall trying to say that they took the name sfter the teritory that thay inhibited, therefore unrightfully hold the name Macedonians,so no need to argue with me,I share Your opinion on them...just wonder how You don`t notice the similarities between our two languages, not to menition the origin of their family names...

  • @The76zoran Are you implying that "Macedonian" is derived from Serbian? Possibly, but with its lack of grammar (in comparison to Serbian) it's more closely related to Bulgarian in any case. If they were Serbs, it wouldn't have been necessary for Tito to recreate their identities. They would have fit into the "Yugo" identity without any problems. If you look at statistical data of that area form the C16th onwards for example, you'll see a lot more Bulgarians than Serbs ...

  • @Commentakias Thank you- you speak perfect sense and should be rewarded

  • @aegeanpisces as a matter of fact MACEDONIA is a lot older than grecce if you dont belleve me find me a map older than 500 years that says greeks but you can c maps of MACEDONIA in every country that has a map from the past that goes backmore than 2000 years!!!

    LONG LIVE MACEDONIA

    GOD AND COUNTRY

  • @MACEDONIAbitola Hahaha yes .. but with GREEK inhibitants not citizens of what is now FYROM! Of course Macedonia was there long before your "Macedonian" nationality was invented!

  • @aegeanpisces NE!

  • @aegeanpisces Gazot ne znai da si go isbrishi ;)

  • @MrMickey1021 You have no idea what you are talking about you stupid pig. No genocide has been committed, except your stupid people trying to kill off Greek culture! And you think no separation of church and state is a good thing? How about england? How about American politics being heavily based on religious values and parties. How about Australia being based on the Christian Values, how about Italy and the Pope? go back to your country- if you can actually call it that (UN rejects it)
