Nice video bro! Revo insane! Got a question bc I have a revo 2.5 and want to convert it but want to know what parts I need to convert my revo to electric?

Also the 2.5 maybe will be harder to convert due to its shorter chassis.

You should go lower in KV. Around 1800-1900.

I removed the option of reverse in gearbox.

Yes, I tuned the gearbox to shift imediately to second gear.

Dunno if it was worth it cuz all of the money I spent in the conversion....pretty expensive batteries and all other stuff. And the FG was used & abused with no break/gas servo and no transmitter/reciever. It is a FG Monstertruck. You find it among my other videos in my tube-profile. Go and check it out !

InFlejms. FG are simply the best. They may not be the most popular, but my dad an I go out with our FG Leopard and a mate who has a BAJA 5B. He breaks his everytime, (engine failure, steering) the FG flips, rolls. and just doesn't break. Must be great having a MT FG tho!!!

my nitro truck isnt working right now. it shuts off if i hit the brakes. the servos and carb got mess up so now im not sure what i need to do. thats another reason why i want to get an electric one is because i dont have to worry about a carb bein messed up.

Tyvärr ränner tempen på motorn iväg för min fläkt haverade. Så utan fläkt ligger tempen på varmt runt 70+ (på esc).

I have the stock tranny. Only mod to it is the FOC (forward only) and I did loosen up the screw to allow it to change to second gear instantly.

I had the tranny taken apart recently to check for wear. I did´nt find any signs of wear or defect parts. Aint that something ;)

Hello, I believe it was around 750$ calculated on the value of todays dollar. Included then was Motor, motormount, pinion, esc, 2x Polyquest lipo´s, Tekno convert kit etc. Although I built the whole car part by part myself. Never really converted a revo I already had. So the total price is hard for me to calculate on. A whole lot though ;) A whole lot of fun also :D

Much depends on what brand on Lipo you got.

I first had some cheap Chineese crap-Lipo and that sucked bigtime. I have PolyQuest now.....man they are super!

Not really. I use forward only gearbox and then I manually turned the setscrew out a couple of turns to make the gearbox shift directly
