In this type of beehive, how do you seperate the brood from the actual honey you want to use for consumption. There doesn't seem to be any queen excluder.
@MrCmarston Not a good idea, but if you are on a comb at the end of the brood nest, it might shrink your nest by a bar for a few days. Likely a worse thing to do in winter. During mid summer, no big deal.

did u guys know that cristians believe that bees r evil and beekeepers r evil becuas those dumys think that bee keeping is a form of gambling and bee themselfs are like comunists. this is a great vid though plz make more im thinking of starting beekeeping and need al the info i can get

depends of the comb...if there is some future queens,the bees will destroy all...thee rest the second mc marston explained well

Would it matter if you turned the comb around the other way when you replaced it?

The sees might attach the comb to the sides if they don't slant. :(
