He's flabby and he's passive which means he's not excellently conditioned nor does he have the heart of a champion.These fighters must be schooled with old school fundamentals. They must study the great fighters of the past like Tyson did in his past and train and stay in shape. That's why Russians are dominant today. They are in better physical shape so even if we have better technique, they still outmuscle and are better conditioned to pull it out in the late rounds.

Wow, I did not know that one could see the heart of a man from their viewing area. Actually he has the heart of a champion and is constantly evolving as a fighter. Conditioning is an ongoing process and I can see from the fight that he has a lot of promise. I would bet that he gets the opportunity to fight again and will certainly win. Fat Eddie Chambers is a disgrace! Guy won't even throw punches. He just sits there and blocks constantly. His performance vs Povetkin was very fustrating. He could have won, but he decided to give up and not throw punches.

I don't know about deciding to give up. Maybe. Something was wrong. He definitely could have thrown way more. Povetkin stayed busy. Some of his shots got through, even though he never hit Chambers with a clean, heavy shot(the way Chambers landed early). All those heavyweight punches add up even when they're bouncing off the gloves and forearms. Chambers never looked hurt, but I'd say Povetkin just wore him out.

He had a less than superb fight, but it was only his first loss, he did a great job in the Caymans. Continue to watch because he is going to fight for the title. There's nothing wrong with losing. But a valliant fighter gives it his best. A valliant fighter comes into the ring in tip top shape. Maybe Chambers will learn from his mistakes, but I doubt it. I think we are looking at Kirk Johnson 2.0

Im no boxing wizzard but from my lil experience in the ring i think eddie is one of the best fighter of the moment... at any weight class. he's technicaly sounds & flawless in his execution.natural abilities, raw talent. Povetkin is not even close! pressure my butt! he found himself in there with an excellent technical fighter & i saw the defeat in his eyes...then all of a sudden Eddie took off. I almost chew my fingers off with anger. But its a learning experience for my man fast eddie

you were right. Alex won but Chambers proved one more time he's a real deal. Eddie was even better, he lost cause he hit less. Almost every punch he made cost dozen of what Povetkin thrown. I think our boy Chambers needs to get his fat ass more into the gym and train harder. He lack desire like other true champs I think. He needs to talk to Hopkins on what it takes to be a champ, training every day.

I don't thin that he is your boy. He is a heavyweight and from what I saw it looks that he does train on a daily basis. Hopkins recently lost. Eddie lost one fight and all of a sudden he needs to lose weight and get into the gym? What was he doing in all the other fights that he won? Hmm... Maybe he was training hard in the gym. He did not step into the ring in Germany without the desire to win. Our boy Chambers will fight for the title.

Chambers won the other fights based on talent. Also none of those guys put on the type of pressure that Povetkin did so his conditioning didn't get tested.

Povetkin outworked him but he wasn't the better fighter. BESIDES didn't you hear Eddie's training telling him after the fight something like "No more playing around from now on, it's time to train for real"
