Just to answer some q's when u go around a turn u can brake but when u shift gears u have to let off the gas, and also when using clutch to shift down be careful not to be on the gas or brake u wnt to be just slowly rolling to go right back up to speed after shifting

@ihatedouschebags it depends when you turn if you slow down to a full stop you will have to downshift back to first gear if your slowing down more but not stopping you will have to down shift if you dont know how much to downshift do one gear at a time but if the rpm's go up to high you downshifted to much let me know if that helped

you should really let off the throttle when shifting between gears, its easier on the clutch in the trans. (just some helpful advice)

one question do you have to pull in cluch when shifting ik alot of people do but i do not i find it easer to not pull the clutch in im not sure if this will damage trany after a while or something like that ive been doing it for years thats the way i learned so i do it you seem like you know alot about quads

@monsterrDC yes you do decause if you dont the shift forks get messed up they have to dissasemble the whole motor thats a 1000 to 1500 fix

If your going up hill what gear should you have it on.

@Bleek323 depends if you have a start when your going fast unless its time to shift before yo get to the hill that gear will be fine but if yo come to a complete stop wen you shift and its a big hill put it in 1st and drive slow if yougo slow your engine wont rev up then youll have to shift if you let off the clutch easy you can go fast shift to second but stay in secaond or else you wont be going fast enogh for 3rd and youll stall out so try that and rite me back
