  • he is cool but only those illegal mexicans should be deported in masses they are horrible people and pedifiles...

  • this is horrible i was brought to the states at age 1 and i still got deported at the age of 20 with still having been a good resident and national honor student and a tax payer because, yes, i had a social security #. and the worst part is that we had a layer who was suppose to update us on anything didnt so we missed the date to leave cause the voluntary departure. and i ended up getting that 10 year bar, too.

  • This Walter Lara only had his deportation delayed by one year. hardly a reprieve. And who is going to hire him with his situation so precarious. His future is limited in this country. We need to collect immigration status data during primary school, when visiting a hospital, when applying for a job, etc. Letting this go on for so long is really lame.

  • "My family was unable to obtain proper documentation..." Translation: I was raised by criminals who broke into this country and cost U.S. taxpayers well into 5 figures.

  • Yes. Your translation sounds logical but take into consideration the standing point of a poor family in a third world country. Not your fault. You're blessed being an American but the social forces placed on people leads them to break the law. Check the facts about the "taxes" you and I pay. That's the biggest myth that is framed by people. Yes, taxes are used on illegals but how much does the government collect from them. Ever heard of individual tax identification numbers?

  • Reality: Poor and working class people, legal or illegal, pay little in income taxes. Undocumented workers and their families suck far more out of taxpayer funded govt. services than they pay in. The minority of illegals who file taxes under assigned numbers from the IRS do not seriously impact that mathematical equation (and the same can be said of people using stolen SS #'s who never collect refunds from pay stub deductions).

  • I don't know where you get your facts from pal but you're far from credible. First, what's poor? Low income, how low. If these folks have two or three jobs which many do, then their incomes probably amount to middle class who happens to pay a good amount of taxes. Your propaganda might work for someone who can't pick up a book or look up sources so don't try here.

  • And how many family members do these "folks" with "two or three jobs" have? How many of these dependents are enrolled in public schools? And how many of those jobs involve cash payments rather than payroll deductions? Propoganda? That's an interesting word for easily verifiable facts you don't happen to like. If you have any interest in the truth, rather than playing illegal alien cheerleader, you can start by googling: Supervisor Antonovich Illegal Aliens cost signal

  • I checked your website and that news story is the perfect example of what framing is. It focuses on one side of the story

without acknowledging the other-that's objectivity which your source lacks. That is unethical for a journalist on his part but objective for the target audience that medium seeks to satisfy. You are just a puppet addicted to ignorance.

  • Fine, don't like that collection of pieces (it was hardly "one" website)? I can't say I'm surprised. Check out what the Center for Immigration Studies has to say on the subject.

  • That is a good website but the executive director of CIS, Mark Krikorian, has written opinion-based articles--many in which he exposes his ideologies. He believes illegal immigration can be defeated if law enforcement would do its job. He blames politicians, lawmakers, lobbyists and the media. That is not the job of a group who is supposed to be pro-research and "neutral." At last, most of his associates hold degrees in law, marketing and other fields: none related to research or sociology.

  • So essentially, production of any evidence that is contrary to the position you've staked out for yourself, you'll find something wrong with? If I told you I was surprised, I'd pretty much be lying. People commonly believe what they want to believe, and for a lot of them, they're not about to let a few facts get in the way.

  • No, that's called evaluating a medium. That website is formed by only one person who knows about research? I'm dumb for not believing an executive who holds a degree in marketing? People should question the credibility of anyone who provides "on-point" studies. Hitler presented "facts" too and we all seen the outcome of that.

  • The Center for Immigr. Studies is not "one guy." Now that you've weaved in a gratuitous fascism reference into your argument, why not check out the Heritage Foundation website, read what they say about our undocumented friends and then report back to me with your "medium evaluation."

  • @DerailAmnestydotcom STFU Sam you obnoxious moron. Everything that comes out of your mouth is a ■LIE■

  • @DerailAmnestydotcom STFU Sam you ugly prick. The center for immigration studies is nothing more than a baised anti-immigration organization. Try again c*ck sucker.

  • @DerailAmnestydotcom STFU Sam you douche bag! The only reality that you recognize is you bending over for Jalira's mom in the bedroom.

  • @DerailAmnestydotcom STFU Sam you bigot! Your parents must be proud for raising such a RACIST PIG like you!
