@OnePieceOfComedy ha, I didn't think there was any way it was official. My Deathnote collection is another bootleg I got from China. The subtitles are kind of off on both sets but they work pretty well most of the time
NICE VIDEO I love your videos and i hope you keep posting more this one was interesting I love your collection hopefully i can start my own collection
Yeah, most of them are Japanese-only. But that's fine with me because I almost always only watch foreign movies in their original language. In rare occasions the English dubs work better, such as in the case of Trigun, or maybe (Death Note, since there's so much talking, and it's hard to follow with all the Japanese) but usually I only go for subs.
You're right about that. I found that movie at a flea market, and I didn't even know what it was at the time, but it looked promising, so I picked it up. I've never even heard the Japanese dialogue for that movie, but the English voice-overs are pretty good.
Grave of Fireflies, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky, Porco-Rosso, Princess Mononoke, and Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro are all in English, too. The rest are Japanese and Chinese only.
I found it on eBay, and it was only $26! Most of them are only in Japanese, but that's fine, as I only watch anime in Japanese for the most part, but the one drawback is that the video quality on some of them is sub-par because there are multiple movies on one disc.
Also hey, I just posted a video response showing my anime collection :)
