Fuck Kayne thats a Maricon kid. This is real HIP HOP/ Real Community Pride Music..This has the sweat and pain from the working mother, the struggles of our brothers and strength from the mothers in my neighborhood. I can't relate to KAYNE so that kid can step off and go do his thing some where else! COMMUNITY PRIDE MUSIC HERE YO! DAPS!

Man this song was beastly. Simple samples. And it goes to show the world how much of an all great Preemo. Group Home is seriously trash lyrically. He made the classical.
Hey hip hop heads i know youre all fuckin dying with all this kanye lil wayne shit everywhere but realize its just hysteria... it aint fuckin music... wont last like this shit... classic
@pureaggression why do you promote those names where that real hip hop is located just let what is already known stay known but unspoken around the real son
with your logic there wouldnt be much to add on the comment section.. he wrote those names to those who still bother with listening to them, that might make them think different.. everyone that peep this track dont necessarily listen to good music
Peace Emporio! Mack - a mil kid! Thats that time capsule shit right there! Wish there was a way to go back in time to those good ole days and just vibe like it was then! God bless us gettin older and like Rakim said, those memories mean a lot cause you cant bring 'em back. Oh well, at least we have cuts like this that preserve those unforgettable times. Peace to everyone who can remember a good feeling that hip-hop gave you! Word to mutha! Brooklyn stand up!
YO Guru Makes Nice beat...sometimes i wonder why he just doesn't produce his own beats full-time when he's not Gang Starring. But styll he co-produces i guess.
Group is like the street knowledge version of Slick Rick. Keeps our youth alive longer when they assert wiser descisions, not more intelligent. Gtta keep the wheels spinning. The only universal constant, wich would be a base ormula to aplly when rooting new systems based on natural laws.
I used to have this music device called a DVR that is like music choice today and I used to leave it on the hip-hop station on record with a 120 minute tape to try and catch this! It took a while but I finally did...and I wore it out! The sample came from Ohio Players "Sweet Sticky Thing".
What about Big Pun, Big L, Outkast, Eminem, Jay Z( before he put a suit on ), Nas, Gangstarr, etc. They all put out good shit after '96. Big Pun put out a certified classic with CAPITAL PUNISHMENT in '98, Outkast and GangStarr both put out classics in '98 with "Aquemini" and "Moment of Truth." Jay- z dropped a classic with "Blueprint" and I think "Hard Knock Life" is great not a classic tho. I know what you mean though, '97 kicked off the bling bling era, thanks to that bitch Diddy
Damn forgot WU? I musta been dusted or sutmin, Wu put out FOREVER in 97 basically the best shit they ever did if ya ask me, well 36 Chambers i like a little better just because it's 36 Chambers but FOREVER is better production wise
yup. i heard Guru and Big Shug conversing over a mixtape interlude. Guru stated that he and Big Shug started gangstar in like 88. did Premier (as Wax Master C, maybe) join in 1989?

One of the illest songs ever. Simple as heck production wise but just the perfect example of hip hop at its purest.
Ohio Players - Sweet Sticky Thing; Melvin Bliss - Synthetic Substitution. That's it. And just dope as all get out.
Ah yes... glad to have partaken in a lot of classical golden era for numerous things in life.
