well whatever is ripped off or not, maybe a homage, no one can deny that angry birds is an interesting physical puzzler and levels are becoming harder and complicated and also it has a funny factor this game Crush the castle seems very dull and boring but the mechanic is alsmost the same in AB but with less sense of humor but what i hate is WHY THE HELL THEY HAD TO ADD THOSE DAMN POWER UPS to AB in the FB version i don't use them but the rest get just greedy with that crap

No, it's blatantly ripped off, and it's really nothing more than taking the idea and commercializing to the point where it gets its merchandise chain. Regardless, Angry Birds is nothing more than a sub-par flash game, only worse because it's a complete rip-off. It's annoying how popular the game is when there isn't anything remotely special about it.

Any remarks about this game having been ripped off by the makers of Angry Birds are just silly. There have been 'lob weapons at a target at the other end of the screen' games around for many years before Crush The Castle. The earliest I know of is Gorillas, as supplied with QBasic which came bundled with DOS 5.0 (circa 1991).

Crush The Castle is very good. Angry Birds is better. :)

You click it once and then when the trebuchet gets going you click it again to release it. And the distance is determined by when your second click is clicked.
