The Javanese in my country (Suriname, South America) also have such dances so the singing and music in this video sound very familiar. I heard these since I was four or five. I remember going to an all-night javanese wedding with my mother and little brother when I was 5. I remember the dark, the river, an outboard motorboat, javanese food, gamlan music, wajang puppets and falling asleep among javanese children on sleeping mats . This is not a male dance..., sorry... I can tell that this is a classical Javanese dance with Yogyakarta style. I am Javanese and learned to dance since little. This dance may be one type of 'golek dance' from Yogya. As you can see from the movements of the piece which is describing an adolescent trying to beautify herself as in putting make up, or coming her hair, etc. I hope that this can be a little help.

@Djoowntjuh yooooo kan tiap kultur punya ciri khas ndiri2 brur. Saya orang jawa,,saka suka tari jawa tentu saja,,tapi saya juga suka tari bali. Beautiful semua kok. Saya bersyukur tinggal di Indonesia yang kaya akan budaya :)
