I managed to do all the parts guys, and this is the first dance I have learnt ever basically and I don't have any teaching in dance, it's not as hard as it seems. What I did with all the parts was to just try and do it with the slow one right from when you first watch it and just keep on trying to do it with her until you've learnt it yourself, if you understand what I'm trying to say :)

Part 7 is just average people. And so is Part 8. Part 5 got me the longest. Well, my tip for Part 7 is, know the speed first it doesn't take me too long though. Then go practice the Half Speed if you got it then practice half speed FASTER. That's how I manage to finish part 7, same as Part 8

Seven and eight are hard parts yes. I think they are too. But you've made it this far, so just take it slow and you can do it! Watch it a few times in full speed, then once or twice in half speed. They're long sections of dance, so choose a line in the song to stop somewhere midway in the part. Learn the hands first. Once you have it at half speed, try it at full speed. Then work on the feet :]

Paralyzedancer, Part 5 was the easiest.... Its part 7 which definitely needed an 'in depth' explanation it was pretty fast and long, regardless i finished part 1-6 so far, and I think your tutorial is great and you are an exceptional dancer!

Everyone's been asking about part 7 & 8, which I'd like to ask about as well. ^-^; It's just really fast, you can only catch about two or three moves from it, but the details are a blur. the parts to 7 and 8 are hard to learn but if u do the parts in sections its alot easier like i paused and practiced at 3:23 and practiced what i learned a couple time then about every 10 or 15 seconds i stopped and practiced. hope this helped a lil bit :D

im a regular girl with no dancing experience whatsoever. i have seen these toturials and found then very useful. i have learned almost all of the dance, not very well though. im a brown girl too ^^ the only problem is i get stopped at part 7 and 8. i find it hard to follow the steps. and i think you filled in some parts with steps more difficult. im not complaining, you are an amazing dancer though. could you give me soome advise?

Been learning from your videos to teach friends for a flash dance at a anime con and thank you so much for all the work you've done!

The dance has a lot of moments where the hands are doing figure eights and the like and even on 26"x45" tv I still couldn't see what exactly your hands were doing in the slowed down versions. IN particular the place in part 7 just before the centipede and in part 8 at the very beginning after the jump. A quick guide for these quick parts would be awesome! Thanks!

The way I'm learning the parts is to do the dance up to the part I'm learning, then watch maybe 2-3 steps and then repeat them a few times. Then once I feel like I've got it down, move on to 2-3 more steps. Then, when you're about half way through the part, try and repeat all the steps. Practice it a few times, then you can move on to learning more steps.

Just learn a few bits at a time and repeat, repeat, repeat. It works for me.

You have to freeze your limbs at the end of each move. That's the point of the whole dance because you have "handcuffs".

You got the moves right but it's a tip if you ever plan on performing it.

Your joints should lock temporarily and then unlock.
