I suppose its possiable he came back looking for revenge but at the same time found love but he couldn't put aside his quest for vengeance for her after all it was his reason he was brought back to life but I do agree with you you can tell there is chemisty between the two in the movie
(This is my point of the view) I think that they did fall in love, well. You see the scene in the beginning of this video, doesn't that mean something? And he holds her hand, and.. Well. When he goes back to her place and she says "You came back." In that scene he seems like a guy that is going to tell the woman he loves that he loves her. Don't hate me for saying this stuff, it's just what I feel and think.
@Colladore Originally they were in love, but Miramax requested the movie be heavily cut because the Weinstein brothers wanted to make it just like the original. The director got pissed and disowned it. Ok so Ashe and Sarah did fall in love and they did have some love scenes in the original uncut version but it has never been released and you can find pictures of Ashe and Sarah on google in which Ashe is holding Sarah in a way that is more than friendly.
