  • so why each time i find new song which i like it is writen that it's prod by premo?

  • check discogs more often I guess...If this is a song you like then check out the rest of Da Beatminerz material; i.e. finsta bundy, shadez of brooklyn, etc.

  • Dj Premier is 6th element of hip hop ;)

  • Fuck Halloween treats cause aint shit sweet

  • One of the best premo tracks, I love it. So much more than chart busters

  • This and the Special Ed (vinyl exclusive) track were the best on 101. I was waiting for 201 but it never came....it's time for Premo to call class in session again!!

  • LOL. whats up with all the thumb downs on this video? Does youtube have A&R censorship too? Oh i'm sorry, i wasnt aware that we werent living in a free country anymore. Pardon my ignorance, not aware that youtube comments are supposed to be biased. Excuse me for not being a robot, rejecting the bandwagon, and forming my own opinion about the music that i appreciate. In my opinion, i've matured a lot when it comes to my taste in music. You robots need to learn tolerance!

  • To say. DJ Premier is the best Dj to ever live.

the true hip-hop based DJ the best to mix on a track and, his beats has more feeling to them that i've ever heard, and if you had that ear for authentically appraised music you should know.

    RIP J DILLA!!

DJ PREMIER IS THE TRUEST HIP-HOP DJ.

    What you think???

  • TRUE, premo is real "voice" of NY.

when you lisen to hiz' beatz' you feel, the NY climate.

    Big Luv Fo' DJ PREMIER.

    RIP BIG L

    Peace!

  • dawg all what you sayin is true

dj quik is exactly what you wrote

    and warren g too

  • Man what no love for DJ Revolution, PB Wolf, Nu Mark-Cut Chemist, Madlib, Babu??!!!! Your West Coast elite list is sadly not as elite as you think..don't get me wrong if you a hip hop head much love, but need to be doing what real DJs do and keep diggin in the crates brotha..oh yeah and if its emotion in beats ya looking for don't forget about Dilla!!! RIP J Dilla!

  • actually, i believe its pretty elite from the hip hop that i've listened to. I've been an avid hip hop listener since the age of 11 and i'm 25 now so i think thats pretty freakin long. I don't consider myself a hip hop guru but i believe that i get by fairly well. I've considered revolution, pbw and his right hand man charizma (r.i.p), i know cut chemist, madlib, babu and many others but i only listed my PREFERENCES. I know all about Dilla, he's responsible for 1 of my favorite songs.....

  • ...that favorite song happens to b "the rhyme" by keith murray. I prefer keith murray over redman by the way. My taste is very different from most hip hop heads because i don't only go for lyrics, the production has 2 be on point as well. If a beat is wack, then whats the point of adding lyrics? The beat is whats suppose to get the emcee hyped and motivated. Anywayz, i only listed West coast producers. I could prolly name 30 or more great EAST coast producers. I listen to it all homie.

  • man.. this takes me back..premo no1!!....bring back gangstarr, tribe yo mtv raps etc...peace

  • DJ Premier is the dopest dj ever.

  • ....i could even throw Warren G and DJ Quik in the mix. I love Warren G as a producer....i think he's underrated MAAADDDLLLYYYY.....Muggs is more wicked than Dre in my opinion.

  • in my opinion

warren g is tha best rapper ever

    the best flow

    and great G-Funk

he is the most underrated rapper ever

  • true, true. his rap and flow is comparable to old school snoop. Dr. Dre usually has a ghostwriter so he doesnt even come up with his own lyrics. Warren G is a genious in his own right. But i'm curious as to how you would compare Warren G beats against Dr. Dre? do u agree that warren g beats r better than dre, or would you side with dre when it comes to beatmaking? doesn't matter 2 me, its your opinion, i won't fight u on it, lol.

  • no dr dres beats are better no doubt

    everyone knows that

    but

warren g is a totally underared MC

he dont get the attention that he should get

dr dre becomes the most attention after

    2pac on the westcoast

in my opinion warren g got the best flow in the whole buisness

    he should get more attetention

not like dr dre but much more as he become now

  • I respect your opinion dawg. I guess i'm one of the very few who prefer warren g beats over dr. dre beats, haha. I know dr. dre has a much deeper history in hip hop and has released many more songs that recieved awards and whatnot, but I like Warren G because most of his beats have that laid back/r&b feel 2 it while at the same time, still Very hip hop in my opinion. DJ Muggs is great but hes 2 horrorcore 4 me, madlib is 2 experimental, dr dre is 2 hardcore & overplays the lowpitch piano key.

  • yes this is hip hop

  • who rap this song group home?

  • just real...

  • Premier didn't make this, Da Beatminerz did. It's on New York Reality Check 101, that Premier mixed, but he didn't make any of the beats on it.

  • these heads need to do their damn homework!!

  • Whooa man i was lookin 4 this song for a long time....This beat could make me cry by its so pure soul...xtemely good vibe here

This is what i call Hip Hop

  • brooklyn the heart of the apple crookland the art of the battle swingin wilkonson swords on these chords leave you leakin sauce on your cross for the cause or because your soft throw words like bullets on a corse to reach thru your pours yes i reign and make it pour became one of the rich from robbin the rich put the stainless to the aimless leave you brainless memorail painters lets leave dude nameless

  • This is what hip hop is all about. Primo is to the east coast what Dre is to the west coast

  • i from west coast and i think primo is waaaay better then dre.

  • well yeah, its because dre is a biter. He bites off of other peoples beats and Barely puts his own spin on it. He doesn't change it up much, but in a little way he makes the beats he steals his own. Now Madlib, Alchemist, Kutmasta Kurt, Rhettmatic, DJ Muggs, BABU, Stonesthrow records producers, AmpLive from Zion I, Shortkut, etc..and all other West Coast producers r another story.

  • THIS IS FOOD!!!!

  • i remember waking up in the morning and hot 97.1 here in new york used to be bangin this! them devils had to change that shit quick because it was to much knowledge being spread threw the media.

  • Caint even explain what this song mean to me man. When the beat hit it pain my heart but in a good way.

  • real hip hop...word....

  • This is the real shit no one drops shit as hard as premier

  • oh the gawds this is hip hop, my inspiration!

  • love this jam

  • I love this song!I listen this song when it's dark and late!

  • remember the time....

  • soooooo dope

  • Reminds me of my teenage days on the East Side of St. Paul.......... smoking blunts and not knowing where the hell I was

  • @Wildcock23 HILARIOUS!

  • @Wildcock23 Hilarious!

  • props dowg for this one ..... shit is real
