  • Triple H should bring this theme music back

  • I thought JR had a problem with his mouth, which made it hard for him to talk ... you mean all along it was just technical difficulties.

I'm giving this video a thumbs down for 2 reasons: 1 Part 2/3 is difficult to find, 2. I am offended by Stone Cold's language and hand gestures. I now have to read the bible to make myself holy again.

  • "...Stone Cold Steve Austin, who indeed, I believe is destined to be one of the great ones, here in the World Wrestling Federation..."

Oh Vince, just wait two years,,,

  • like this comment if you watch this on 2011

  • 3:09 BAHAHAHAHAHA

    I LMAO

thumbs up if u get it

  • Lol JR's mike kept cutting off.

  • they named the ppv after triple h's opponents

  • In this video, what do JR and CM Punk have in common? haha

  • @jhall024

"Does my mic work or not."

  • dude this must have been hhh vs austin round 1, man this is the beggining of one of the great rivalries! wow... how wwf changed in years- these guys git the top of the wwf not soon after

  • Those kidd dont know whom they messin with cause he was the best entertainer ever 2:50

  • @ahmedrazamughal I'm sure within the next year they would be decked out in Steve Austin merchandise

  • 6:07 Jr wuz fucking flipping out!

  • 3 Years Later October 1999 PPV Event. No Mercy HHH Vs Stone Cold For The WWF Title

  • austin: *middle finger* to Hunter Hearst Helmsley

jerry: maybe that means he thinks Hunter Hearst Helmsley is number 1

    lol

  • wow stone colds actitude is something we miss this days

  • Two future legends!

  • They were building up Savio vs Austin for a few weeks on TV leading up to this, like Austin costing Savio a match against Salvatore Sincere, as well as Savio running down during Austin's match with HBK

  • 2:54 - look at that lil fat ass HBK mark callin austin out. wish stone cold had socked the shit out of his ass and stomped a mudhole in him

  • @TheMile816v2

yeah and get the WWF sued.

  • i think thatds wheretriple h got hhh from of course hunter hearst hemsley is triple h

  • i think thatds wheretriple h got hhh from ofcourse hunter hearst hemsley

  • Debut of "Glass shattered" Austin theme.

  • i wonder if vince stood in the ring with hhh and austin at this time would he think that one would marry his daughter the other one would give him hell and both of them would become tag team champions

  • Really good watching Stone Cold vs Triple H in an OPENING MATCH UP!! And they went on to have classics at Wrestlemania etc. I wonder if that iscurrently happening now and we just dont know it!!!

  • where r rest of the parts?

  • this match is not Buried Alive.

  • @2knowyourrole nah the PPV was actually called "IYH: Buried Alive" lol, it was putting emphasis on the buried alive match between Undertaker and Mankind bro

  • Jim Ross is NOT HAPPY about his microphone malfunction....

  • Fun Fact: This was the first time Stone Cold used the GLASS Theme Song.

  • @BSabres87 its called "hell frozen over"

  • damn hunter's theme is so badass and threatning

  • "Stone Cold's got a list, and everyone's on it." completely believeable. badass extreme.

  • "Destined to be one of the great ones in the WWF" Bet your ass he was Mcmahon. Saved your company from WCW's ratings dominance lol.

  • 3:24....she wants SC!!

  • if only people knew what this match would mean......

  • lol 2:55

and LMAO when they made fun of that woman at the 5 minute mark

  • ross popping off towards the end of the clip was hilarious...this was a great commentary team...lol

  • Triple H had to completely reinvent himself from this persona....not Austin, vintage right down to him giving Hunter the finger after that arm drag! What were those fans saying to Austin and Triple H?

  • @skedardestroyer what helped get triple h going into his character was forming d-generation x with shawn. He was then able to form a more renegade like character from there

  • @Summerslam96 Yes. He still kind of kept the blueblood part of it early into degeneration x, but it quickly changed into the prankster type....but after he left DX, he changed yet again, into the cerebral sick violent guy he is now.

  • "As far as anyone havin a problem, all the sudden with the language that Stone Cold is using,,,,,, well they can just KISS MY ASS!!, and thats the bottom line." LMAO!!

  • I remember watching this on ppv in the 90's, and still have no clue what in the hell happen to Savio Vega that night. He was supposed to be Stone Cold vs Savio Vega.

  • @ecrtr3004 I would of much rather watched this match anyways!

  • @CreatureLikeGod Now looking back, it was a better choice. They could not pull a last min ppv match like this today with their roster. At the time, being 11, I was a bit downed about Savio Vega missing out.

  • waiit, the WWF championship match of that PPV was a Dark match?? WTF?

  • @chipsamy i have heard that term dark match for a long time! what is a darkmatch?????????

  • @raymondcesar a dark match is when the match is not aired on tv. Only the people on the arena can see it

  • I love when austin gets heated with the kid giving him the finger... I can just hear him saying I'll knock the hell outa you boy

  • @razaccour Yea TO YOU!!.... Stone Cold Steve Austin has been declared the most popular wrestler EVER if you watch the WWE's TOP 50 of ALL TIME you'd see this, or Just Google IT!!.. Sounds Unbelievable but its 100% TRUE!...

  • Its Kinda Funny That Triple H ,Austin, the rock and undertaker had different names in the beginning Undertaker (KAne The Undertaker) The Rock (Rocky Maivia) Stone Cold (The RingMaster) Last But Not Least Triple H (Hunter Hearst Helmsley)

  • @MasterOfTimeForever well Triple H is Hunter Hearst Helmsley. I think he coined triple H for shortening it. Even backstage people like shawn would call him hunter

  • The miz probably the only superstar that worked hard to get to the top. John Morrison too but WWE ain't giving him a chance

  • Triple H's music sounds like something from Final Fantasy 9.

  • @jarosikzero yeah,ore something from zelda!

  • 5 people had a problem with the language, that Stone Cold was using.

  • @Adb12San

Or a newb doesnt know of the old 6 star rating system

  • @Adb12San 6 xD

  • @emcce69 heel vs heel still happens just stop watching WWE. You dont know what your talking about.

  • heel vs heel that shit never happens in the WWE now, and if it does Cena comes out, and beats them both up.

  • yeah you right TRIPLE H is one the best wrestler in the history and STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN is the most popular wrewstler of all times...

  • Vince says "Austin is destined to be one of the great ones".....no brainer

  • Hunter Hurst Hemsley was the best damn wrestler in WWF/WWE history no matter what.

  • Triple H before all the steriods and the quad tears lol

  • @TheRatedIX7 what's the verdict on that? when my brother and I started to really get into WWE in 1999 he would often joke that Triple H was on roids but after looking what he looked like even a couple years before that point, he looked small. Do you really think he took a little bit of muscle enhancing drugs?

  • @Summerslam96 I think he's done roids more than a few times in his career. He started gettin big around mid 1999. He looked real nasty in 2002 Esp. at Wrestlemania X8. I remember somebody asked Scott Steiner when he was in the WWE if he would get tested for steroids. He told them to bring Triple H along to get tested as well. The one who asked him that question dropped the topic immediately or something like that.

  • Who was that girl with hhh

  • @dcmarvelrulzbkfrmded one of the random valets that he would bring to the ring at that time.

  • @Summerslam96 lol

  • JR's mic going out was apart of the storyline at the time where he was complaining about how he was being treated and then brought in the fake Razor and Diesel.

  • lol--jr's mic cutting off made it seem like he was cussing his ass off--he started talking about austin's language like he was a saint just a minute before and then his mic started messing up and he started to cuss himself--good job ross-lol

classic commentary-classic match-classic rivalry to come between austin and hhh and mcmahon---

  • who knew back then that these two men, from mid carders to becoming two of the biggest stars in pro wrestling!

  • austin was already getting over here

  • i agree....but alot love PG WWE too....the attitude era is dead. :(

  • Wow, seeing the guy...errr...girl around 2:56 makes ya laugh alittle seeing how she was a supporter of a man who lost his smiled and never wanted to job to anyone around that time period. but yet shes giving austin hateration. Just goes to show...

  • this was one of my favorite In Your Houses ever, it had just about everything from the long awaited dream match between the Masters of the Powerbomb that should had taken place three years earlier in WCW to the first ever Buried Alive match between Undertaker and his most dangerous foe ever to a classic "heel vs heel" match between two future WWF icons

  • Classic Stone Cold Entrance was NO JOKE! Back then u get in his way he will have your ass on your back looking at the lights and that's the bottom line! HHH being a Blue Blood was lucky he wasn't in a POOL of his own Blood!

  • HHH's theme here gets me amped up!

  • he wasnt trying to be a uk mofuka you idiot he was supposed to be an american blue blood.

  • wtf hhh dressed like a uk muthafucka u from connetciut not england

  • This was the first use of Austin's glass-break music. May have been the first use of the middle finger before the stunner as well, but not sure on that.

  • Amazing how within a matter of 2 years the two biggest heels in the company became "fan favorites" which pretty much distorted the whole term completely...because the ones who WERE suppose to be fan favorites weren't such or were faces that were booed...lol

  • Triple h was small, four years later he became a beast!

  • what a nice theme song =)) LMFAO

  • I wonder if Austin's mic skills were that good when he was part of the Hollywood Blondes with Brian Pillman.

  • who knows that time that this bold SOB gonna revolutanize the wrestling

  • @abhijitarege Quite a few of us where behind him 100% by then. I had full confidence in him. But quite how far it was gonna go was indeed debatable.

  • The Two Man Power Trip

  • Who's the amazing blonde on HHH's arm?

  • @cstring420 its sable

  • @rohanseth8 That's not Sable. Sable already left HHH and went with Marc Mero by this point. It doesn't look like her anyway. That blond on HHH's arm is someone else. If anyone knows please tell me.

  • I love it when JR got pissed back then. "I can't ev- a damn poi-with this da- micro-"

  • Who would've known that the first encounter between Austin and Triple H (both heels at this time) would later turn into one of the greatest rivalries in the early 2000s, and who would've also known that these two were gonna become huge superstars and hall of famers (Triple H future hall of famer)?!?!

  • Loved Austin's intro....

  • 2:57 the HBK and Undertaker fans OWNED Austin!

  • wrestling began going down hill once the wrestlers began to go public out of character and the damn internet

  • When was this?

  • @syk619 1995

  • @syk619 1996

  • i want to let everyone in on a secret... hhh and stone cold steve austin were both heels (another term for bad guys) in this match.

  • Comment removed

  • lol look at the boy in the background at 3:25

is he saying "hi Baby" to her? xD

  • lol @ 2:55

  • the greatest face as a heel and the greatest heel as a um well a heel

  • Wow, Triple H was pretty skinny (and fast) compared to now!

  • "Neither of these two men are fan favorites".....how times have changed.

  • two of the greatest heels of all time

  • lol well they can kiss my ass if they don't like it lol vince didn't like hear him swear

  • That faggy kid arguing looking like that! with Stone Cold is hilarious! @ 2:55ish

  • lol at jr moaning about his mic not working throughout most of the video

  • My bad just found out it was Nov. 18th on the archives

  • This heel vs. heel match reminds me of a Oct. 14th 1996 RAW match between Stone Cold and Mankind. It used to be up on youtube a couple years ago but was taken off. This match was probably one of the greatest matches I've ever seen cause Austin and Mankind tore the house down. Someone should get it up on youtube again.

  • @Summerslam96 They had several heel vs heel matches around this time, because it was leading into the era of the 'shades of grey' characters, or 'tweeners', and not so black and white babyface vs heel anymore. Vader vs Stone Cold and Mankind vs Owen Hart are others that I can think of that happened around this time (late 1996)

  • Before Triple H took the juice

  • Before Austin's BMF walk lol

  • from prim and proper Hunter Hearst Hemsley to the Cerebral Assassin Triple H. My how times has changed but not the name.

  • it's funny that this is the opening match

  • good old days. now you wont see this anymore :(

  • Triple H has been looking so different now, but Stone Cold always looks the same!

  • @WillieDrew2009

must be all the beer stone cold drinks

  • I'm just impressed that a match w/ two heels didn't end in a draw. That was rare in the WWF days.

  • Jim Ross being pissed is making me laugh so hard.

miss the days of when you didnt know it was real or fake....the WWE needs to listen.

  • i know i hate WWE now back when it was WWF it was good shit

  • @ScottNEwberry they dont need to listen vince needs to pull his head out of his ass and bring back the wwe that we all love

  • @ScottNEwberry The WWE is dead.

Wrestling went from being an American icon, part of our culture, as American as Nascar or Football,

to just a kid's show. They took that from us.

  • HHH - pre-steroid days.

  • JR - pre steroid days :)

  • 5-star heel entrance by austin here.

  • Well as a matter of fact this guy still is a mid carder.

  • Stone Cold Interview. 1:45

  • Stone Cold Steve Austin: Well They Kiss My A** & That's The Bottom Line. 2:18

  • The effect of steroids really show on Triple H now.

  • i know its sad HHH was actually a good looking man here now he looks like some scotish junky

  • bahaha look at triple hhhh's fail gimmick.

  • hell frozen over debut : )

  • wow look how small triple h was back then roids thats all i have to say

  • Austin and HHH opening a PPV show. Wow.

  • @Bash316 I know right, crazy.

  • @Bash316

Yeah, it was much better when guys started at the bottom and slowly worked their way to the top. Now they got a guy named alberto del rio who debuted August of LAST YEAR and just won this year's Royal Rumble. Lame.

  • @mojo06 they did the same damn thing with Sheamus an Swagger. I may get attacked for saying it but Brock Lesnar was pushed in the same way. They wanted Stone Cold to job to Brock and Austin didn't want to do it because it was stupid. That's not how you build a wrestler especially one that's not going to be there very long like Brock. 2002 was when WWE started to lose its' clue

  • @Bash316 they paid there dues

  • Haha close to being the worst. I'd have to say the Macho Man was the absolute worst though.

  • please upload part 2 and part 3

  • where the fuck is it?

  • these 2 would later had one of the best rivalries of all time..

  • Comment removed

  • Was the fan Austin was jawing with a dude or a chick? LOLz

  • HHH wasn't a main eventer in making at this time, he was only a mid-carder, Austin was a main eventer in the making. The reason the cheers weren't as loud they should be for Austin was because this was before Austin was a fan favorite, he was a heel.

  • "Maybe that means he thinks that Hunter Hearst Helmsley is number one" LOL!!!

  • Stone Cold's laying the foundation for the Attitude Era haha

  • Wow in 1996 they open the show. Then around 99-01 they were main eventing. God I'm getting old.

  • LOL, poor JR. He just wants a working mic.

If only they did outside antics like that nowadays XD

  • what ever happened these 2 guys

  • were these main baby faces and heels at the time?

  • no they were just main eventers in the making.

  • Yea the cheers wernt as loud as they should be for stonecold but i guess he was just another guy in the locker room then.

  • both guys were being pushed as heels back then.

  • Pretty much. Both were rising mid-carders.

  • hahahaha at 2:55

  • I will always look at HHH like this. I hate him now.

  • they can kiss my ass and that the bottom line.

  • R.I.P GORILLA MOONSOON

  • wow.

  • Vince probably wouldve never thought at this time especially after the MSG incident that 7 years later Triple H would marry his daughter

  • or fuck his daughter 3 years later.

  • HHH SUCKS.

  • i dont like him either. But I rather see him with the belt over Cena, Batista, Khali, and all these other overrated bums

  • "As far as anyone havin' a problem all of a sudden with the language that Stone Cold is usin', well they can just kiss my ass and that'z the bottom line!" LMFAO!!

Stone Cold is a beast XD

  • It feels so good to see this match from this (year's) view. I didnt like Hunter (at the time) and I didnt like Stone Cold either. But both these guys progressed to two of the most reverred in the WW and in the entire wrestling industry.
