I can't find any penetration tests on youtube for the 2250...could you do some?

If i may give some tips as to how would i go about it. Shoot two ranges 5m and 30m. Shoot at 1/2 inch wood and lined up dog food cans or something similarly thick. The more systematic approach the better.

@TelfordSniperKid crosman... order a 2260 's STEEL breech and bolt... and the barrel.. you can mod the valve for nothing, it just needs to be ported out a bit. I own a 2289g with this setup, Silencing a gun that cant break the sound barrier is pointless, it just slows the projectile down more.

I've got mine up to 800 feet per sec, and its still the normal " poof " sound you get out of a airgun.

you get 70 shots out each tank of gas but wen you get to about the last 10 shots thats when it starts to get less powerful

If you are in the Uk you shouldn't uprate a 2240 .

It currently produces around 5.9 fp .

6fp is the legal limit .

Increase this and I believe you are looking at 5 years .

(poundage and years may vary) .

Could you not have used a 2260 24" barrel to take the power up to around 10.5 foot pounds instead of using the new valve ?
