One of the best songs in the last 20 years what a epic song by a epic band i seen RadioHead in 2008 and they were epic they played In/Rainbows set and songs from The Bends,OK Computer, Kid A and Hail to the Thief. There style of music has changed alot from The Bends and Ok Computer days, Pablo Honey is now a forgotten classic if it came out today it would one of the best albums. If The Bends was out now it would be at number 1 for a long time Ok Computer will be a classic for the next 20 years
I think what can safely be said is that the Radiohead we know today is still the Radiohead from back then. They outlasted Muse in my opinion, because Muse changed themselves to become popular, Radiohead just kept doing what they wanted to do, with fucking intelligent music. I rest my case.
I'm quite annoyed with myself...have been aware of Radiohead for the last 15yrs and The Bends has always been one of my favourite albums but for some reason I never 'got' the rest of the stuff. I just did. Dammit, I wasted 15yrs of not listening to this absolute brilliance.
Why is there this big fuss between muse and radiohead, i couldnt choose between the two, they dont even sound the same? id say radiohead alot more experimental, and muse are more of a rock band... none of us can say somethings better than something else cause all music has an audience somewhere , its just a matter of opinion, anyone who compares the two are just being ignorant,
To be honest, I dont really see how Matt Bellamy and Thom Yorke sound the same, they're both awesome but totally different. I like Bellmay better, but i also love Yorke, and thats just my preference, but they still sound different.
@gurudev91 hahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa ha ha ah ahahahahahaha lol lmao rotfl woah hahahaha ha haa ha ha ha ha ha hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ha ha aha ha aha ha aha ahaha oh fuck oh fuck I can't breathe hahaha gaaaaaaaaaaaa hahahahaha wow.
I'm quite sure that along with Joe Cocker (Woodstock), Jimi Hendrix (Woodstock), Nirvana (Unplugged) and Queen (Live Aid): this has to rank as one of my top LIVE performances of all time.
Muse sound nothing like Radiohead, Radiohead sound nothing like Muse. They are both great bands with their own unique talents. Now everyone quit arguing and enjoy the music.
I remember seeing this on telly, as an ice breaker for the O.K. Tour I think. Never been so knocked out by a track at the first listen. Went out the next day and bought the album. Brilliant.....Totally brilliant !
I`m sick of peoiple that compares Radiohead with Muse, no comparison, they`re both diferent bands, different styles, plus radiohead is better, their songs are deeply-heart made, Muse is a bit more agressive and commercial, good band though
@DruMerFreak69 matt's voice is more crystal clear and pristine, whereas thom's has a lot more character and emotional depth. They're my two favorite singers but i find thom's voice, lyrics and singing techniques a lot more interesting
u're insulting thom yorke he's the most important voice of the last 2 decades
the only thing they have in common is they both use falsetto, if u didn't refer to that i don't like being rude and muse is great but get to fuck mate
@yeahyeahyaha2 Dude i wasn't insulting either radiohead or muse, i was making a basic observation. if all you're going to do is be a asshole over an opinion that had no intension of insulting anyone, then you can go die, fucking keyboard warrior
@AySevinExEffOweBee I really dont think he does. Theyre both blokes with high voices, thats about it. Their styles are very different imo. I'm still a fan of both :p
@biscuitchannel OK I never said they SHOULD be more underrated. I just prefer it when people don't like the same things as I. These guys do deserve way more attention, and I do deserve the right to state an opinion. I am not here to criticize anyone or anything, I was just stating a personal preference.
@biscuitchannel the two most under rated bands ever are the smashing pumpkins (ultra under rated) and radiohead (mega under rated)... and thats partially what makes them so AWESOME
@IamTheScorchedEarth Radiohead underrated? They're about as critically acclaimed as it gets, I don't think they're underrated.
Smashing Pumpkins on the other hand, yes, very underrated and underappreciated over all. They're right up there with Radiohead in my books.. both equal to me.
@biscuitchannel only by people who are ignorant, coz lets face it,once u listen to him play, there is no way u could ever think he is under rated unless u are tone deaf.

I note that my previous comment got a negative rating. I find this unbelievable. Do people really think this band lack the ability to make it in the music industry? Why on earth not - the musicianship and song writing talent is clearly there!
Dude this is Radiohead right here. Being big in the business is the last thing they are about to. This is not about making money fast, its just about inspireing people and thats what makes them the greatest band of all time. the fact that you obviously don't know them shows that they are succesful with their idea. btw this performance is more than 10 years old.
