I love the Clash but John and Lemmy are 100% right ... great band, great energy, but they didn't have the originality of Lydon or his absolutely raw edge!

I think the Pistols are so much better than the Damned. Both are/were great bands but the Sex Pistols had an energy that was unmatched at the time! At least in England. Here we had the NEW YORK DOLLS and The Ramones!
