No one sings like this lady. I got hooked on her back in 1964 or so when she had her tv specials, My Name Is Barbra and Color Me Barbra. I was in high school and I thought she was absolutely wonderful. Pure genius!!!

Oh my God, this is the version of this song I've been looking for for forever!!!! I didn't know it was the Barbra Streisand version I liked. Now all I can think of is The Nanny, lol. But this song is so beautiful..

Barbra is an undeniable talent of the first order. This is her style. She works a song with a bit of Broadway and a dose of her own soulfulness. It may not be what everyone likes, but her talent is real and not based on some video of her shakin' her booty or being "cute at most". Beauty refers here to the music "dude". I've been listening to her since she first started recording. I'm not fanatic, but I do like many of her performances. This is a good one. But check out Mel Torme doing this song.

Nobody can sing like this supertalent - In the smoky velvet relaxing fog of her phrasing on this one, I'm surprised there are those who like to pontificate and opine about someone else's perception of a wonderful song. Her voice is the Stradivarius and can anyone surpass it? If music critics can do better let them get up and show us or forever lock themselves away listening to early 20th century cylinders,( luv from one who can't sing but knows what is extraordinary)

Like pretty much everything she gets her hands on, she oversings this. I wish that, just once, she'd stop trying to control every freakin' syllable and just sing simply and from the heart. Way to overdo a great song.

I never knew Barbra recorded her version of this song. What a beautiful rendition. Like the way she changes next to the last line from "hold her near" to "hold me near." Basically saying I am Sunny! Also, I love the arrangement. Thanks for posting.
