Actually the mainly instructive videos I've seen you do aren't exactly supposed to sound that good. While not meant as mere bits of entertainment, the effects you get from just a normal mic and a basic wooden marine band type harp are amazing.

I can only get such sounds by "cheating," since I blast a heavy duty shure mic with a black resin hohner blues harp.

My hat's off to you for taking only a pencil and bond paper, and somehow producing a fine pen and ink illustration on parchment!

Nice stuff, well played, authentic 1950s sound on the harp. What was the gear setup? The rhythmic precision in the first set of licks is reminiscent of Steve Baker.

This is much more traditional than your heavy-metal effected stuff, and doesn't have the same thrill-of -the-new to it.

Thank you! I playedd Hohner Marine Band DeLuxe harmonica in A through a Shure Beta 58A microphone into Digitech Vocal 300 processor into my recording equipment.

Very interesting. I would never have guessed that it was a Vocal 300, but then I'm not extremely familiar with the device. I use an RP200, RP255, and RP355, which of course are much more guitar-oriented devices. The distortion in the Vocal 300 sounds much better than I expected, and of course Digitech's delays always sound good.

I have an MB deluxe in A also, very nice harp.
