  • THIS GUY IS THE SHIT LOVING YOUR WORK

  • Very inspirational

  • Phew! that really is a long form, must have taken a long time to learn.

    I really respect this!

  • Can you teach me on the Mount?

  • Your grace and persison are amazing

  • absolutely beautiful, the music was a fantastic touch.

  • Really amazing o_O

In my opinion Wudang gong fu and tai ji are the most beautiful wushu arts.

  • yes very fluid and swift in motion with power and much grace.

  • @youlihan

2Wochen :-) also bis bald

    lg, Gök

  • Spirit of the western has been tamed by reason, while our Chinese still root it in nature. But i can see both of them in your performance, You are a real master, even much better than many chinese masters. I would like to make a chinese poem to express my respect and appreciation.

  • This form looks like it links Taiji, elements of Taiji, and the fajing of Xing Yi. Is that accurate? I can really appreciate the low stance work, flexibility, grace, and power that is displayed here. Are there any instructional videos on this form? Thanks.

  • @youlihan Lol, that's a nice joke Sifu .. ''Clothes doesn't make the man''. If it's about getting a better Gong fu, practice is the key, unless you use t wear thight clothes ( I know only because I practice Wing Chun Gong Fu). If it's to stick to traditions, it's respectful to wear a suit..

    Farewell

  • Youlihan...just so amazing and awesome!

  • Excellent performance and excellent music ...soooo good !

  • Can I ask how long has master Ismet Hummet study this form in Wudang?

  • your excellenct performances never cease to amaze me. I can't understand how you've managed to achieve such an obviously high level of skill without having starting your training as a child!

  • *complete balance of awareness*

  • 5 Star. very elegant, very nice, like continuous flowing streams of water.

  • Amazing so smooth! Firm and flexible like bamboo. Beautiful!

    Thanks so much for posting!

  • Lovely....

  • Very good. Thank u.

  • Very nice and fluid!

  • Howdy and appreciation for your replies...sent you a more detailed message concerning study with your school/teacher...Loving it more than ever !

  • @omega7arts hey thanks, the song is called "liu fang" (also called "the yi dance")! Greetings Ismet

  • beautiful, very beautiful

  • It is true of many styles/forms that the applications are not always obvious, especially to one who is unfamiliar. Youlihan demonstrates the form beautifully, He makes a form that is difficult to learn and execute well look graceful. He has obviously dedicated himself to the cultivation Wudang Gong Fu. Deep bow to an excellant student.

  • This is beautiful ... Grace

    Peace ..balance

  • I don't know much about the forms of this style but I think it looks beutiful and I would say masterfully done !

  • wow always thought when it comes to taichi chinese were unbeatable......but this is beautiful ...I usually can't watch whites cause they look hopelessly lost ..but this I must say wow again WELL DONE whoever your name is thanks you

  • omg it seem so much easy and natural !! very good video shifu !!

  • very good internal control, top man :)

  • im heading to wudang as a beginner n i dont want to leave until i reach this level of spirituality and internal control, keep spreading the wisdom dude

  • The song is the Yi Dance. Each year, on the 24th day of the sixth lunar month, Yi people hold a torch festival, full of fairs, fighting, dancing and fireworks. It is a time when young men and women meet their prospectives spouses.

  • This is by far the best performance I have ever seen by internal stylist who wasn't Chinese. This guy is really good! Hats off to you my friend.

  • The best non-chinese performance LOL

They can make an award with that inscription

  • totally agree !!!

  • magnificent....

  • This is more than amazing. This is inspiring! Well done and thank you for posting this!

  • Beautiful

  • amazing to watch. how long did you practice before getting at this level?

  • very nice form

  • absolutely wonderful! Very inspiring and moving, peace and harmony! with a deep bow to this outstanding master!

  • I dont know a great deal about Wudang, but watching this form you can see that no movements have been left down to chance. Every subtle movement appears to be completely intentional, from the shifting of weight from the heel to the ball of the foot, to the subtle changes in hand posture, and eye focus.

Although a form is nothing without knowledge of it's aplications, you can almost see that he knows the purpose of each movement.

  • OUTSTANDING!!!......APPLAUSE

  • Nice form.

  • do you know any drills to open up the kua?

Surely in Wudang you don't strech your legs till you cry to do a split, do you.

  • Hello, for opening the kua we r just trying to do the forms and the basics right. Its through out the whole Wudang Pai System... there r manny drills for it, all inside the forms and basics.

  • This is absolutely beautiful. Such powerful and flawless performance...

  • The other videos I've seen with this man are incredible. I've never seen anyone perform Baji so smoothly or powerfully.

  • this doesn't look like baji though...

  • I have seen many perform wudang forms and imust say that you are among the few that gives the form real beauty

  • This is truly unique within it's diversity of combining different aspects. Timeless form that flows like water.

  • very powerful and and fluid form. I gotta learn wudang long form now. Anyone know of any tutorial DVDS?

  • It is beautiful like a dance or smth and in the same time his legs must be burning

  • forgive my ignorance, but how is it that slow form such as this are capable of creating such tremendous power.

  • Just like in conventional exercises, a slower, more controled movement requires more muscular effort. So just like doing a biceps curl slowly with control is harder work, so then is a slow form.

Most power however should come from the technique, which, with intricate movements like these, I am sure there are powerful techniques behind them. Although I've never done any Wudang myself, I have seen alot of the applications for other internal martial arts and some of the movements are similar.

  • Hi Ismet, Your forms are truly beautiful! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication and for sharing your experience.

  • this form is wonderful

  • dear youlihan,

thank you for posting this clip and making this style public.

can you please tell me, where in germany or europe i can learn this style ? i am from berlin.

thanks for your efforts and best regards,

    lars

Berliner Str. 46, 10713 B. U-Bahnhof Blissestr. Montags ab 18 Uhr ist bester Einstiegstermin. Liebe Grüße

  • Hello,

could you give any information about the history of this form?

  • Hi Speakingheart, this Form today is separated into 3 shorter forms and the 5 Animals/Elements and very rearly teached as one whole linked form with 108 moves. The first Part is known as TAI YI XIAO YAO ZHANG (TAI YI FREE PALM), the second part is the TAI YI WU XING (TAI YI 5 Elements), the thirt part is the TAI JI-not tai Yi- MIAN ZHANG (TAI JI Cotton Palm) and the last part r the 5 Animals/Element all togeather the 108. These came down from the wudang 7th generation successor TAI YI ZHEN REN.

  • thanks for taking the time!

  • you're good. i ought to learn a lot from you! How long have you been learning taiji quan and wudang? and where did you learn it?

  • hi, all in all now its been not more than 8 years i am practicing wudang Pai. 1 year from Master Long Jin Ju, 3 years from Master You Xuan De, short time from Master Yuan Li Min and since 8 years from Master Tang Li Long.

  • Beautiful. I know very little about this but learn well by observing you. Please continue in your training and share with us. Your inner work is apparent to the eye.

  • Hard... work. Respect man. Wudang is the best thing right now. It's really good to see a Westerner in China wearing the cloths & doing his own thing in front of a temple... That shows how open Daoist Masters are comparing to them tight-ass-oh-I-don't-wanna-teach-westerners-my-precious-culture-monks! Laughs

  • very motivating, good work, thanks Himmet. Kind regards Darius ;)

  • very nice! you re progressing more and more!

  • u have definitely put much effort into your training! very nicely done

  • Du bist mal wieder sehr beeindruckend ;-). Ich muss noch mehr üben.

  • Very nice form. Well executed. A pleasure to watch.

  • impressive. I love this form. How many years have you studied wudang?

  • hi, not so long.. I started internal 1998 but Wudangpai since 2000. All i done before (since 1985) is external.

  • well done!
