  • This vid traumatized me as a child, I have forever since been on the "bad guy's" side. and hate short sited assholes who can't understand the big picture of it all.

  • Is this suppose to be a werewolf or a vampire

    ? o.o

  • Then why is mine bothering you kozakX316? Its clear to see you have anger issues. Please get help for that.

  • Then why is mine bothering you kozakX316? It seems you have anger issues. Please get help for that. Remakes are ok if they are done right. Yes King Kong was one hell of a remake...and honestly better than the original...but Fright Night...sorry I stand where I stand on that one. If you liked it... good for you. You may want to be careful though who you blindly call names too. There are a lot of unstable people out there that may take it personally. Anyway thank you for your comment!!!

  • I just loved it when Peter started to cry as he watched Ed suffer. I mean, even if Evil was bad it still showed that Peter felt emotion for his enemy. To me, the whole scene was very powerful.

  • i don't mind about remakes, even if they don't follow the original, but have to be well done. in my opinion halloween was a fresh new idea that works, gives another view and didn't follow scene by scene. Fright Night 2011 didn't work because the cast and the script wasn't good, we don't feel nothing for them with bad acting that put hannah montana in a better position. and even the cgi wasn't too much believable. for those that complains about the wolf, read bram stoker's Dracula not twilight

  • Reckkra you are easily entertained!!! If the original is so horrible why did they remake it??? And I would rather live in the past with these classics than watch pathetic attempts to make an original better. But in case you have not noticed...Hollywood is all out of ideas!!! That's why they are now dubbed the remake kings!!! The independent film makers will take it from here!!! Have a nice day Reckkra!!!

  • Didn't evil ed live?

  • Your not going to compete with real actors who love doing what they do...the original cast...vs the remake cast who are only out for a paycheck.

  • This scene alone is why the original will never be out done. The remake was shit!!! Shallow characters...and Mclovin??? You wanted him dead from the first time he spoke!!! No depth to him at all!!! You didn't feel sorry for any of them in the remake. Colin didnt even turn into a bat!!! And a vampire drinking beer??? Peter a drunk magician??? Come on!!! Don't make a part 2!!! Even the CGI sucked in this remake!!! There was no emotion to any of these characters!!!

  • @MrHain101 Its called making it more modern. Stop living in the past, this has nothing on the remake.PS: A vampire with a tan!? makes sense...

  • @MrHain101 Hey asshole, can't you just stop being a prick for one minute and realize that all of the 6,000,000,000 people in the world have different opinions. They don't need people like you stating yours like it's a fact. And while it's true that Hollywood has seemed to run out of ideas, believe it or not some remakes are very good. Example.(Fright Night, King Kong). Have a nice day MrHain101.

  • Werewolves? I thought it was vampire

  • @Dianam1000 It is. Vampires are often depicted as being able to assume the form of animals like bats or wolves. You have to look at the old legends, not the new Hollywood ideas of what these monsters are.

  • It's Jacob Black...oh no it's not is it?

  • @OceanbornAngel this is a sacred place, we dont mention that name here!

  • @NormanBatesRocks911 Please forgive me for my transgressions! >_<

  • @OceanbornAngel you are forgiven

  • Even after all this time, still a great scene, and one that still is hard to beat.

  • I first saw this movie when I was 4 years old....... I don't recommend that.

  • @premolatino Me when I was 7..... Don't recommend that either. Haha

  • omg ed is freaky i so dont like the noises he makes when he dies...sounds like he havin a baby!!

  • @WildJill2011 awe I feel so bad for him

  • What show is this?

  • @rrorr12 Fright night

  • class scene and rest of the movie 10/10

  • It hurts from nostalgia...

  • @Schullo423 It is. In older movies vampires could shapeshift in a sense into bats, wolves, mist, etc/.

  • @gayfarmerboy thank you bram stoker lol for the shapeshifting bit

  • Good god, this is so upsetting.

Everything from Ed's whimpers to Peter's saddened and ashamed look just depresses the hell out of me.

  • thats gross

  • This is very sad, I almost cry all the time I see this scene.

  • I love the original just as much as everyone else, but I have every faith that Christopher Mintz-Plasse will pull it out of the bag. His interpretation of Evil will obviously be different, and just because it's a remake, it doesn't mean that they have to get everything accurate, down to the 't'. I think that it will appeal to a different audience, but I'm sure that none the less, people will enjoy it.

  • This has to be the saddest yet grody death scene I have ever seen.

  • i don't think he truly died because the very last scene left me stumped

  • Yikes, that would have scared me in the 80's since I was only a kid then. It's pretty creepy now, I'm glad it's about 2 in the afternoon. What happened to Roddy McDowell's character? Since after that death scene it looks like he just killed a naked kid.

  • 2 things: Epic fail at 0:39 and I hate when vampires can turn into wolves because isnt that a werewolves job,you cant put werewolf vs vampire wolf can you?

  • @1999MichaelMyers Obviously you have never read Dracula, you ignorant cunt.

  • Evil Ed will return for "Fright Night Part II" Remake if the original remake does well...I do want to know what happens to Evil Ed in Part II Because the Original and Sequel left me with unanswered questions of what happened to Evil Eddie I AGREE THAT NOTHING BEATS THE ORIGINAL still, but a true "Fright Night" fan would just see it, and hope it is Faithful to the Book, and the Original Movie in at leats some Degree!

  • MMMM-mmmmm....His dinner's in the oven!

  • @AZdrummer89 that's the best line!!!!

  • FUCK the remake! the original owns...I bet if anyone who likes that twilight bull-ish they would shit there there pants if they saw this scene! FRIGHT NIGHT the Original FOREVER!!!

  • Good luck recreating this, McLovin...

  • This is a true vampire, you give Edward a good name.

  • Best vampire movie of the 80s!2nd is the lost boys

  • Yeah... I can't see McLovin doing this.

  • @0GreenFaerie0 Same here :[

  • Hell yeah Roddy McDowall ...

  • Hopefully in the remake this scene is updated and the new evil ed christopher minz aka mclovin is transformed hehe

  • @pacman491 eh stephen geoffreys is cuter

  • This scares me

  • I don't know. Remakes tend to suck, and even the god ones can't compare. Can The Doctor and McLovin save this movie?

  • This is a tutorial on how to kill Jacob and those other New Moon werewolves.

  • great decade 4 great movies.

  • I'd hate to see how they're going to kill off McLovin (he's playing Evil Ed in the remake)...

  • this movie is a classic for this scene among others.

@dionstap.... to true to to true

the remake of this movie is gonna suck i know it. it can never ever compare to the original ... EVER!!!!!!!

  • @alyfan1 absolutely right. the director was a fool to touch the idea of remaking.

  • Haha, has anyone else noticed his real name is.... *drum rolll* EDWARD!!!! This is the true version of Edward, new the name is blocked off by fake-ass vampires!!

  • God rest Evil Ed! He is one cool vampire.

  • poor evil ed :( I love him

  • @0:12 they show a typical grey wolf but @0:14 its an arctic wolf

  • yup-just awesome 80s effects rule! fuck cgi!

  • @dionstap this is why CGI needs to be done away with in many films.Long cinematic scenes drawn out with lots of creepy music and monster metamorphisis is scary shit.

  • @Mathew1985AZ hollywood doesnt agree unfortunatly-old school practical effects work better!
