QUESTION. im flying to LAX. from Melbourne stopover in Syd. Do the normal class have Tv entertainment systems?

however, you can not book a United flight from Sydney to Melbourne or vice versa

the only people on the SYD-MEL-SYD flights are inbound/outbound to the United States

Yeh they can fly local. They do it all the time.

you cant purchase a ticket to fly between SYD and MEL on them. the only people on these flights are continuing onto Melbourne from LAX/SFO or vice versa.

No international airlines have rights to fly domestic passengers in Australia. They did during the pilots dispute

O yeh your right. I didnt get you on with your wording.

But United is one of the 2 US carriers that has the right to carry people domestically from Asia to another point in Asia. Such as Tokyo to Bangkok.

If you want to fly domestically inside Canada I think you have to go with a Canadian international or domestic airline, such as Air Canada, Westjet, etcetera. I never thought about it but your'e right I've never seen an airline which is not Canadian based running a domestic flight here. You learn something new every day
