Even if the americans would have get in this situation, roosevelt would never had signed the capitulation, the american industry was and is undefeatable. japan had already lost the war when the first plane started from the carriers to attack pearl harbour.

1 the atomic bomb would have never have been dropped in japan

2 north korea and china wouldn't be who they are today

3 america and japan would probably eventually ally up to take down the soviets

I think in this scenario the Germans suffered the same fate as they did historically... I can sort of see the US surrendering just so they concentrate solely on Germany in this case.
