Hope your ok! I nearly fell off today! I had no stirrups and we had to trot round in jockey position and my pony is a really bouncy pony so I nearly bounced off the side. a few years ago I was riding and I was jumping a spread but as I sat down the pony I was riding went up and I somersaulted off! Really painful!!!

not really i ride both, it all depends on which one you are better seated in, if you barrel race, hey you get slung around the barrel trying to stay on and some horses refuse to go into the arena like they refuse a jump, some of them fall both has happened to me ,lucky my horse hasent refused a jump (nock on wood)

And also, what you said about kicking or using a crop is true however if you have heard ov montry roberts or parelli, prople like them inspire people not to use crops but everyone makes mistakes. Some horses will refuse no mata how much u kick em.
