Ok first of all I can't believe I'm the first to actually come view this after you asked for peoples opinions. Anyhoo, here is mine. I think that this particular song is not the best choice for you. Perhaps something in a slightly higher key. I am a singer and musician and understand what it is like to be passionate about something. So if you are passionate about recording or performing this song then do it anyway that is just my humble opinion.
