BBC on "No Dawkins" Buses and Reasonable Faith 2011 Tour (Oct. 17-26)

Immitation is the greatest compliment. Believers are now without options, cornered as they are they NEED to answer the questions posed. And by doing so many of them will realise that there are no arguments and there never were. Finally they are no longer averting their eyes, no longer trying to shun reality. It takes gutts but I am convinced most of them WILL find the strenght to face reality, REAL reality and learn to live with it, as the reward is TRUE freedom.

whether your a theist or atheist, you have to admit that it will be a great debate if he does show up. i would love to see this debate, i think i'd get a lot out of it. Don't know why it hasn't happened already, maybe even several times over.

When I first read the sign on the bus I thought of a double meaning of "There's probably no Dawkins" (Because he refuses to do many debates, so 'There's NO dawkins at the the Theatre on Oct. 25) and also the obvious reason of Dawkins probably doesn't exist; I thought the first meaning was comical.

as if there is any "debate" in he mind of a biologist like dawkins as to whether there is a creator or not. he isn't going to take on this craig fellow simply to please those that are calling for him to do so.

Also, the debate topic is not on the existence of a "creator," or intelligent design or something like that. The debate is a PHILOSOPHICAL one based specifically on Dawkins' own claims in his best-selling book, "The God Delusion."

Dawkins' is being asked to defend his notion that anyone who believes in God is delusional. He has, after all, made a lot of money on it. watch?v=0mioJYqRVDE

It's great that this story made television news, but the reporting on it is, as many have commented below, rather pathetic. No mention of WLC, no mention of what the debate was supposed to be about and no mention of the new slogan.

The buses are being used to "get the evolutionary biologist involved in a public debate." A debate about WHAT, lady? Not evolution! The subject is whether believers are delusional. Isn't that relevant?

Don't be ridiculous. The sign appears in its entirety at 0:30 for about 1 second, in motion. If you caught this on TV, there is NO WAY you're gonna know what the whole thing said. If you don't think there was a deliberate attempt to disguise the web address, venue, and date, then you're simply in denial.
