  • The strike killed baseball in Canada, both Montreal (obviously) and Toronto have never recovered. I love my Jays, and am dying to see payroll to a point where we can contend again, but its gonna be a long road. AA is going in the right direction though I think so far

  • How is this a walk of shame?

He went to a team that cared more about baseball-"breakfast, lunch, and dinner"!

He went to a team more interested in getting great talent, than lining the owners pockets with extra millions!

Don't forget in the early 90's when the Jays cared about winning, they had the largest payroll in the league!

  • @ESPsandEmgs you dont know anything

  • @zackboomer

Apparently I know more about the topic than you do.

  • @ESPsandEmgs no, you don't.

  • @zackboomer

    What ever dumb ass,

The Jays management is more concerned about making money than, winning rings, if not then maybe you can explain to me why Roy Halladay was traded?

  • @ESPsandEmgs He was traded because after 2010 he was going to walk...our GM wanted to get more then some draft picks for the best pitcher in baseball.

  • @zackboomer

If you really believe that then you are a fool!

He said that he would stay in Toronto for the rest of his career, they didn't want to pay him.

  • @ESPsandEmgs He ASKED to be traded...did they want the situation to end up like the Delgado debacle? I think NOT

  • @zackboomer

You still have not admitted that the Jays DID have the biggest payroll in MLB in the early 90's.
