@adubb515 Ron Paul has a pretty good economic plan and is a republican in that sense. However, as president, he can't pass any economic bills by himself; he needs congress to cooperate. However, he would be the commander in chief if elected president and national security is the area where he differs the most from modern republican views. I'm not talking about republican views from "a long time ago", I'm talking about CURRENT republican views which Ron Paul does NOT have.
