This is a crap case, you cant there aint no opening for changing track buttons or the charger slot....Big time design flaw.... My advise is just buy the original one from cowon its actually very good
As a side note, it's a mic and reset button on the back. The S9 has no speaker. Also would have been nice to mention that the S9 needs to be removed from the case to charge or connect to computer.
No, the leather on the inside is plush and soft. We have been putting the device in and out of the Noreve case a lot and haven't seen any damage to the Cowon S9.

The case from Cowon is smaller and gives you access to every button/port on the device. Much better than this one.

I had the case from Cowon and it fell apart in like 2 weeks :(
I heard that the Noreve case holds up much better, so I think I will give it a try.
