I loved how Kermit tricked Piggy near the end of this part. Proves that even though Kermit is more of a straight man/pacifist he still has a clever/mischievous streak worthy of a comedy actor.

The Mummenschanz fit in very well with the muppets. It's a good combination!

@Shavarnarak My guess is given its first season, it was probably high on the want list of guest stars. I mean, they have so much in common, it would have been criminal to NOT think of having them show up.

I actually saw a Mummenschanz proformance before I saw this episode and I immediately thought of the muppets.

'Strange looking things'? That first thing wasn't strange it was just a giant roly poly (love those, they're cute). The other two were a little strange though, they looked like obscure versions of exoskeleton creatures (the second one slightly resembled a praying mantis that moved like a crab and the third one looked like a shellfish with a frog's tongue).
