I saw all the Metal shredders playing this classic and tearing it up. I love your rendition, it is so clean and captures the intent of the piece. Beautiful job!
@ivanclassicalguitar go to markanthonycruz com - then click ´ mac publications ´ - Solo - Anthology of New Transcriptions and Arrangements Vol. II ... $18 dollars.
Generally I'm not impressed by technical flurries of notes like this Solfeggieto, but it's a great warmup exercise in the very least. Great arrangement. I always have trouble with the higher registers without a cutaway.
Ricardo, nice job on the Solfeggietto. Is that my old guitar? I saw this video a couple of weeks ago. It inspired me to work the piece up again. Thanks for posting!
@gtrs4life You welcome, thanks for arranging. Yes, that is your old guitar. It still sounds great, I enjoy playing it. By the way I heard Tempus Fugit today. Nothing short of amazing. Just keeps getting better and better. Please let me know next time you are playing here.
Wow! I, too, am an experienced classical guitarist. At first I thought this was fake because it is too perfect and so meticulous but after examining it thoroughly, I have found it to be legit. Unfortunately, after viewing this, I fear I am going to have to retire as an accomplished classical guitarist because there is no way I can compete with your exceptional playing. LOL, oh well.
