There are so many versions on YT of Ray singing this song and this is one of the most powerful. Obviously, it's a song he cherished. But the version he sang on TV when he was dying a few years later is by far, I believe, the most poignant (see 'A Song For You-Leon, Willie, and Ray). It was in honor of Willie Nelson's 70th Birthday and it was Ray saying good bye to him.
