Worst of all is Sakuke is weak...he killed orochimaru when he was weak close to death infact...and when he fought itachi, itachi was already dying and he was losing his eye sight but still sasuke couldnt get 1 good hit...and an other thing, when sasuke was fighting the jinchuuriki of the 8 tails sasuke and his group 'taka' wouldve died if itachi hadn't given sasuke his powers! this is prove that sasuke is weak...he shouldve died instead of jiraiya..

@blackout1393 I agree but Itachi died with a smile on his face and his intention was sasuke not knowing the truth.If it wasn't for big mouth Tobi or fake madara,Sasuke would've returned to the village.He was what Itachi said a blank canvas he could be painted any color.With Itachi knowing what might happen he set up amaterasu on sasuke and entrusted Naruto with sasuke's future.What I want to say is blame Tobi the manipulating masked bastard.

But even if he didn't say anything to Sasuke, Sasuke wouldn't have been let into the village he's a rogue ninja now....the thing that bothers me the most is when he said that he was sad about itachi's death! but he left his village betrayed his friends nearly killed naruto just so that he could get his revenge

Saddest moment in anime history. jiraiya's death, and naruto being told =(. he fought like a hero and took all the pains on alone....and ultimately leading to his defeat by finding his weakness and passing it on before his death. Still, he was my favorite character and seeing him actually die was...sad as hell. Especially when you see his spirit touch narutos shoulder and you see tsunade cry right as he dies.

Damn I loved Jiraiya, but we've got to admit, Jiraiya dying was one of the most epic things happened so far in Naruto. It's moments like these that make it the show it is today. Nobody loves a boring show where everyone's happy all the time :-) Itachi's and Jiraiya's death were 2 epic moments who had a big influence on the show. Whatever people say, Kishimoto is a good writer :-)
