i dont know what turbo combo this guy has, but my 2.5l hybrid motor on a fpgreen and E85/ 07sti transmission, and supporting mods, it drives like a dream i wish wrx's came stock like that, 420whp on a low boost map ahha

@siouxfall im not into subies but if the sti 6 speed is bolted to the same engine as im guess the 5 speed wrx then yes but if ur trying to bolt the tranny to a differnt engine then no it would be like bolting a (honda)b20 tranny to a (honda)f20b block (honda)

To everyone who doesn't understand the concept of a mild tune....

The setup has much more power in it, but the tune is very conservative, only netting 400 hp on a dyno jet.

Oh, and I LOVE how you drive your car like you stole it!!!

looks like a bugeye wrx, pretty sure its a 2.0, Sti wasnt available in the US untill summer 2003 as a 2004 model. unless it has been swaped.

its a 2.0 liter when on stock form.. i believe this car has a hybrid set up.. 2.5liter block with 2.0liter heads, and a sti transmission swap..

Not bad at all. Real similar to my set up only I went with a large TMIC instead of the FMIC and I don't get as much turbo lag. I am not sure the huge puff of black smoke at around 1:19 on the hard launch is such a good thing there. I would get that checked out for sure.

"JonMinney1" "Stg4100" is correct the motor will fit, almost all EJ series will fit in similar model subaru's, heck if the tribeca 6cyl motor will fit in an impreza anything else is cheese! Hopefully my next project!

@Evomurdera Only thing that i know of that wont fit is the old ej20tt from the jdm legacy gt. You have to relocate one of the turbos if its going into a LHD impreza :[

"SilentAssassin" So if I understand correctly your vehicle is not forced inducted (turbo,supercharged?) If not and your running NA, it depends on the increase in injector size, also if you upgrade to reputable performance injectors, their flow rate and spray patter have been fine tuned, therefore you may see a small increase in horsepower, at the end of the day whatever your application may be, you'll need some form of controller to tune out your max power gain with just adding injectors.

Stoc Sti block with Pistons/rods, Wrx heads with cams/springs/retainers. Could never remember the elivation reading on the dyno, but here in Florida where pretty much at sea lvl also, however our humidity readings are higher. Greddy T67 turbo setup. AEM stand alone. Thanks man!
