  • I don't understand the significance of stating about killing someone if they work on a Sunday, this definately has to come from the old testament where the only thing they could do was obey the laws. This concept didn't work because no one could adhere to it and animals were sacrificed to prove it,God sacrificed his son on a cross as so we could be saved by grace not laws. The ten commandments had merit but the messiah had more don't ya' think? It's all about choice anyway so choose wisely...

  • having said that, i'll watch his show, but maher is no stewart, no colbert.

  • Take an astronomy course. Gravity and asteroids. That's basically it. It's not very complicated. You are a fungus growing on a tiny speck of rock floating in space.

  • The Sabbath is on Saturday lol....The OT is written by God and they are ALL true :D. Someone needs to read it in context!

  • Bill OReilly what a cunt :)

  • Christians are retarded

  • Religion is very plastic: you can adapt it to many shapes, and use it in many ways, I think even as toilet paper...

  • Awe. Bill O'Reilly's butt hurts. Let's compare IQ's and see who to listen to.

  • i no this sounds "blasphemous" but im guna have to agree with o'rielly which I NEVER do. the great deluge was documented by many cultures. the bible isnt perfect but its history is close to par

  • Hahahah, you are sooooooo dumb O'reilly. You say its not cool to say mean stuff about people then at the end you say left wing people are cowards!!!! Hahahhahahahah, you sir are a muppet.

  • I just like the fact that Noah's ark proves evolution. :) If Noah and his family were the only humans on that Ark where did the black or asian people come from? Or religious people think they don't exist? :D

  • @TheMeanEYE The asians already had enough boats, the black people outran it(especially those kenyans), and the mexicans simply waded through it. These are all irrefutable facts because they are irrefutable. THES ES LOGEEC.

  • @USoldierofGod Telling some one they have a choice, but if they choose wrong you will punish them, is not free will.

  • They're both ignorants. Their arguments have nothing to do with the actual discussion.

This is a clear example of brainless people bieng broadcasted for entertainment purposes.

Im so glad i don't live in America.

  • Why is Bill O'Reilly still television?? Such a waste of space...

  • I AM BILL O'FUCKING REILY BELIEVE WHAT I SAY OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND GUT YOU WITH A PAIR OF SAFETY SCISSORS.

  • FIRST WHY IS THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE A HE? WHY CANT IT SPEAK COHERENTLY? INSTEAD OF ALLEGORICALLY? WHY DID THE MEN TALKING TO GOD NOT KNOW THE WORLD WAS ROUND ? REALLY GOD THE CREATOR COULD NOT SAY OH YEAH ITS ROUND LIKE HE IT WHATEVER DINT KNOW ? REALLY.! AND WHY DID IT HE ONLY TALK TO PEOPLE 2000 YEARS AGO WHY WONT IT HE TALK TO ME? IS HE IT NOW JUST A COMMON PRICK.

  • Honestly i think bill o 'reilly doubts his faith as well. He said the bible was written by real human beings opposed to god. it sounds like he just said god isnt real what a hypocrite

  • best way to find a faggot, ask him if he belives in god.

  • Bill Maher is an amazingly smart man. OReilly debating Bill Maher is like watching the incredibal Haulk beat up a special needs child.

  • I like how Maher is such a text book Liberal who is so politically correct and absent of common sense. Sarcasm just flies over his head, too. But what do you expect. The trademark of the left: "Be tolerant of others and everyone around you... Unless you disagree with them. Demonize them, call them stupid, wrong and smear their image."

  • @MattOuellette88 That last part sounds a lot like Bill O'Riley.

Or, you know, the evangelical maniacs that killed hundreds of thousands during the crusades for the "Holy Land", and not believing what they did.

Or the Templars that burned innocent people at the stake for not believing in what they believed in.

Sounds like Maher is the least of our worries for simply calling someone "stupid" for believing in something.

    Just sayin'.

  • I think that everyone should believe in what they wanna believe & shut the fuck up about it. Im christian & I know that not everyone needs christianity, yet there are some idiotic christians out there that force it upon ppl that don't need it, therefore making the majority of ppl who follow christianity, seem like psychopaths. Its honestly a never ending ware between christians & atheists. At the end of the day, nothing gets accomplished anyways, so who really gives a shit what you believe in?

  • @AnOmiCKs you're right, of course. there can never be intelligent debate about religion unless it's amongst people who don't subscribe to them - which isn't really a debate. i don't mean religious people are incapable, i mean the mere act of questioning your faith would be crossing a line. i learned this when i was a kid - being pitied and judged by a group of 'believers' because i had a questioning mind. it's a pity really because it's an interesting subject with loads of history

  • BILL OREILLY IS SO FUCKING STUPID BILL MAHER DOESNT EVEN KNOW HOW TO REACT. go to 4:15

  • Fuck FOX news... LMFAO

  • Bill O'Reilly has a "pea brain mentality" as most people. Deism has more to offer...belief in the God of nature without the nonsense written by man.

  • he's such an asshole

  • bill... PLEASE SHUT THE FUCK UP!!

  • the law maher refers to the old testament law written for the jews, Jesus says in the new testament that the old law is irrelevant.

  • He's right. You are dumb.

  • "You can't explain how the earth got here" Ahm... yes... yes we can, know know exactly how it got here. It's this little thing called The Big Bang.

  • @ferdiaob none of that is proven, it's all theory.

  • @bigbowlofcereal1 If you think that then you don't understand what a scientist means when he says "theory", it does NOT mean hypothesis. There is orders of magnitude more proof of a big bang than there is of an invisible man in the clouds clicking his fingers and we just appeared.

  • @ferdiaob I't will never be proven. You are taking a leap just like someone believing in a higher power. You are the same, we are the same. My socks are white.

  • Talking over everything Maher says does NOT equal winning an argument Bill. It just doesn't.

  • 5:57 umm where does it say that?

  • Comment removed

  • Typical christian conservaitve talking over reason to drawn out the reality..

BTW what happened to the people/animals when the Ark got as high as mount everest? How did they breathe and not freeze to death?

Grow up people and stop believing in the fairy tales!!

  • @zepfan74 Ok, where did the ORIGINAL matter and energy come from that initiated the first molecule into motion that began the construction of Earth? "Virtual Particles"? That "scientifically" supports the idea of God. Has it always existed? Well, that defies the "cause and effect argument" (Which is man made, not God made). Did it create itself? No because that would ALSO break the law of "cause and effect". So please, answer my question without using one of these typical wrong answers

  • @USSoldierofGod they cant and thats the sad thing is that this crazy stuff is taught as fact in school. when a college level Geology teacher admits that there is a lot of speculation involved. and that it is considered a theory only because a majority of scientist believe it as fact. Which means scientist could agree as a whole that people are made of 95% pudding and it would get the level of a theory

  • @CWScott24 Exactly. Today's society relies 99% on what the scientists say, and 1% on what they should be questioning. People need to stop thinking that scientists are the end all be all answer for everything, because they are NOT. Im glad that there is someone out there like myself who actually USES their own brain. For instance, they say the sun doesn't move. Ive made an enormous amount of calculation, and proved that it does, but will people listen? No, they believe the scientists.

  • @USSoldierofGod "I love the atheist argument that just that there is no proof that God does not exist does not mean that he does", when the same logic can be applied to the big bang theory.

  • @CWScott24 there is a hundred times more evidence in the big bang theory than anything you read in the bible. The Bible is what it is...a great story..nothing more.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy Lol somthing that supposedly happened billions of years ago for no real reason and is all based on speculation is not what i would call proof.

  • @CWScott24 I didn't say proof. I said evidence. True, there is a whole lot we do not know about the universe, but instead of relying solely on faith, we dedicate ourselves to the truth. Which is what science is..the STUDY of the truth of all things. We are not saying there is no such thing as God...just that there is no clear evidence that he exists. A book written hundreds of years ago by "prophets" is hardly evidence..I do not mean any offense..only intelligent debate.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy Oh I see, sorry I took it the wrong way.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy To bad that's NOT the definition of science. Science- to have the knowledge of, or knowledge, as of facts. What does Theory mean? Theory- strictly a basis of speculation. Big Bang THEORY. Stop saying there is evidence, when there clearly is not. Even the "scientists" if you can even call them that, admit that it is pure speculation. Stop lying in order to back up your argument, it's a sin. Jesus died for your sins, just accept his pardon, and admit He's Lord.

  • @USSoldierofGod Okay so what is the Bible then? It is too just a theory. Once again, I never once typed out "The Big Bang is what actually happened." now did I? However all you religious people do all day is spread your all knowing, all powerful, supreme being of the universe nonsense from one person to the other. Creationism is at the same level of belief as the Big Bang...except there is one major difference between the two..one has evidence behind it and the other doesn't. Chew on that..

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy No actually you DID say that the Big Bang THEORY had EVIDENCE supporting it to be so. That statement alone completely contradicts itself.

  • @USSoldierofGod I will not admit to anybody that they are any kind of Lord over me..Jesus was just a man in robes. Get over it, thats all you religious fanatics want to do, plunge this world back into a second dark age well I won't have any part of it...Science is not in the business of telling lies, science is in the business of telling the truth. Its people like you is what made me an agnostic in the first place...its people like you is why we have hundreds everyday turning away from God.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy That's the problem with the mentality of non-believers see, they don't WANT anyone to be over them. They think that humans are the smartest thing out there and can figure everything out. Well look at it this way. Everything has a creator. So you're saying that the only thing that doesn't have a creator, are things that are not man made? What would make you think that? The evidence is all around us! God is here, the Rapture is coming, so turn to Christ Jesus!!!!!!!

  • @USSoldierofGod You know for someone who claims to be a christian and Jesus lover, you sure are a very angry person. Also, the last time I checked, isn't judging others a sin? Seriously, just do us all a favor and stop leaving comments.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy There is quite a difference between anger and passion. It is also the same with witnessing to others about Christ, and judging. God is the judge, I am the messenger, telling you that you WILL be judged according to whether you believe in Jesus Christ or not. Simple as that friend.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy lol a fairly judgemental reply..

  • @USSoldierofGod You are a nut and you should leave your house and go live with those Westboro Baptist Church freaks, I'm sure they will welcome you with open arms...Keep your "God is Almighty" rhetoric to yourself because one of these days its going to come back and bite you in the ass.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy THIS is what you will hear very soon if you do not accept the Lord as your God: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." [Matthew xxv. 41.] And as Christ said, do not despise those that hate you for loving me, for they hated me first, and it is me that they hate. So hate me all you want, but in the end, it is you who will suffer greatly. I love all of you, as friends, but not as brothers, for you have NOT accepted.

  • @USSoldierofGod Ok so your comment is stupid on several levels, grammatically, logically and intellectually; non-believers have just acknowledged that there is no god hovering over earth. Not everything has a creator but everything has been created. Because you don't know how Earth was formed you have concluded there is an all powerful, all knowing and all loving god who formed the Earth... somehow. "The evidence is all around us!" - Where? Show 1 piece of evidence which proves there is a god.

  • @meetPITT So does a video game just create and program itself by chance? Do modern 360 games evolve from an old 1989 Tetris game? Does a tornado go through a scrapyard and create a perfectly functioning car? These chances are the equivalent to that which you base your argument upon. So no friend, YOU show one piece of evidence that proves God does not exist. At least my beliefs are of Faith. Yours are based on some astronomical chance that could never happen.

  • @USSoldierofGod Are you trying to suggest a video game is of the same scale as Earth? You said you had evidence, so what was it? You are correct ^^ "God does not exist." Not faith, hope. Whilst you wait for your expectations to just happen, others are making them happen. Instead of wasting time praying take that same time to progress. Answers to your questions. 1: no 2. in some ways. 3. no

  • @meetPITT Obviously not. Im saying that there is an even GREATER chance that a video game would somehow program itself, when compared to the idea of matter somehow being manipulated into what we know as the Earth. And no I did not say I had evidence. I asked YOU for evidence against God. It's funny how men are so foolish to absolutely and concretely insist that we could NOT have a creator. What made all of this then?! EVERYTHING HAS A CREATOR. THINGS DON"T MAGICALLY CREATE THEMSELVES.

  • @USSoldierofGod Oh now your a girl, cool. what created your creator?

  • @meetPITT Hahahah that was a good one, lol but seriously God is outside of our realm of physics. No one one can say how he got there because He always has been, is, and always will be.

  • @USSoldierofGod he has and always will be there, thats ridiculous. its impossible to have a rational conversation, when the irrational can create further fallacy's which defend their views.

  • @USSoldierofGod Don't like it? Well I'm sure you can back away from these comments and go read your storybook. "May God have mercy on my soul.." oh well, who says I want his mercy? Also, whose business is it to anybody if I lie? Its my business..unless I purposefully lie to hurt others..then it becomes somebody's else business.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy LOL @ that! You didn't even have a legitimate argument against what I said. All you did was insult me which proves the point I'm trying to make. Thank you friend. EVERYONE USE THIS AS AN EXAMPLE.

  • @CrosseyedPwnzy The Big Bang Theory is the most IMPROBABLE thing to ever come across a man's mind as an idea. Look, the Big Bang is full of it. Once again, how was the very first molecule made? You don't know, because you LITERALLY refuse to look in the right places. Yes, that's right, REFUSE to look in the right places. Perhaps all you people who say, "Well we don't know" should stop trying to refute the people who say, "we do, and here it is". Chew on that for a while.

  • @USSoldierofGod it's easy to delude yourself with fabricated truth. it's harder to face the fact that we don't have all the answers. being biased against science with a religious slant is childish and ridiculous. sack up and face your fear of the unknown, it's not as devastating as you think. if you really want answers, don't stop asking questions.

  • @azamothasaurus Its easy to turn to Satan and say, "I need knowledge of Earthly things." It's hard to put faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and say, "you are my God, and I confess this now, along with my sinful imperfect nature." God made it that way on purpose. This is a test that is not for the faint of heart. Nor is it for the people who think that the brain that they have, is more logical than God who created it in mere moments. So turn to Jesus now, admit that you are a sinner.

  • @USSoldierofGod okay, i think i get it. i don't recall saying anything about being perfect yet you brought it up. also satan and sin. does religion placate some feeling of guilt for you guys? no malice intended, just wondering. i still don't understand how people who are otherwise quite rational could take such an improbable concept seriously without question. a lot has changed in 2000 yrs bud. i have no belief in devils, lords or gods. your pompous, pious twaddle is wasted on me

  • @azamothasaurus Exactly friend, where do you think that the evil in the world came from? And if it has been in man, what made man realize that it is evil? Well there's good to do that part. So where did the ideas of good and evil come from? The Bible. You base your everyday decisions of right and wrong, off of the Bible. Fascinating stuff. Look it up if you'd like, the Bible is the first ever recorded historical artifact to bring up good and evil. A.D. 33 to be exact on the date.

  • @USSoldierofGod oh, wait - silly me. Dogma - is the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, or a particular group or organization. It is authoritative and not to be disputed, doubted, or diverged from, by the practitioners or believers. Although it generally refers to religious beliefs that are accepted without reason or evidence

  • @azamothasaurus I have a word for you brother. Faith. There is no evidence that comes with it. That is the reason that it is faith that we put in Christ Jesus, and don't rely on our own minds which God made, to try and come up with something more improbable than God. I have something I actually just wrote today, if you are interested in how Christians think, and why we think the way that we do. I will send it via personal message for you to read if you'd like.

  • @USSoldierofGod dude shut up, no one wants to hear your opinion. fuck god, fuck christianity and fuck simple minded thinking

  • @zepfan74 Why do you care about what others believe in? Everybody think like me mmmmkay!

  • Bill O'Reilly is indeed a smug little cunt with quite irrational responses and if what he says about nobody watching anything apart from Fox and The O'Reilly Factor is true, then i feel very scared for America

  • Comment removed

  • The last person i would like to be representing christians is Bill O'Reilly. Maher clearyl has some misunderstanding about the bible itself and O'Reilly seems to know less than him...

  • they're both idiots

  • well done Bill...

  • this is edited.

  • Have a lot more respect for Billy after standing up for Ellen Degeneres.

  • lol Bill is soo hypocritical. "love thy neighbor as thyself, and don't call someone stupid if you don't agree with them politically." Doesn't Bill do that every show?

  • @spoechhacker Nope. He doesn't do that. He has called people pinheads and other names, sure but not for differing political opinions. Watch him once in a while.

  • Comment removed

  • @spoechhacker lol i thought you were talking about Bill Maher, use last names next time lolz

  • The hypocrisy is GLORIOUS

  • Religious people and their crazy superstitions...

  • Maher just comes across as a camp creepy bad actor.

  • Far left people are too cowardly to debate? Maybe they have better things to do than be shouted at and interrupted by a far right prick with backward views that serve only to propogate his own wealth

  • FUCK IT!... WE'LL DO IT LIVE

  • It's bad for Maher to say people are dumb, but it's just fine if O'Reilly says people are cowards? O'Reilly is by far one of the dumbest bigots on TV.

  • o'reilly killed maher during interview, and then burried him at the end with the quote from the exodus. great job. maher is a lunatic of the worst ttype:dumb as a monkey, but actually thinks of himself as bright and smart. i hate o'reilly, but here he looked like a shining prince destroying the evil dragon of hell.

  • @mabilokuda Really? This is what you take away from this video? O'Reilly raises stupid points, talks over Maher, and undermines his own argument, implying atleast thrice that the Bible is merely symbolic. Hogwash in one part (New testament) of the Bible is believable, but not in the other (Old Testament). It's like saying,'Hitler was a racist, but I hate the Jews next door'. Maher would have won against an opponent like that without speaking a single world through the entire length of this video.

  • @mabilokuda HAHAHA Says the guy who believes something with no proof backing it up!

  • where is the great wall of China?

    where was the Berlin wall?

where was leonardo Da Vinci born?

What country does English original from?

and the best of them all....

Name a country that starts with the letter A

if you had to look up the answers to those questions then YES Americans are stupid

  • @phillNWUK If one person needs to research to answer your questions, then all Americans are stupid? How does one count for all? Does this mean all Brits are stupid because you are?

  • @phillNWUK I'm sure you meant a country that starts with the letter U, referring to the united states. America is not a country.

  • You can not profess to be a Christian and disbelieve the literal story of Noah's Arc. Even Christ referenced the Ark in his teachings.

  • This is sad... I'm anti-religious, i have never read the bible for more then 10 seconds due to the incredible amounts of bull shit it contains. Yet i know more about Christianity and other major religions then O' Reilly who claims to be Christian. Also for all of you religious nuts out there, belief in a religion is a gene just like being gay is a gene. If i could post a link i would show several articles from several credible sources but look up VMAT2 god gene

  • @nic654323 go fuck yourself

  • ok so o'reilly compliments maher there at the ends, saying 'at least he has the courage to debate, a lot of liberals dont have the courage to do that'. could that have been a more hypocritical comment? he goes on and on through this debate talking about how maher is morally insulting an entire group, and then he goes off and morally insults an entire group. nice one o'reilly. i look forward to the day when you say something that makes sense.

  • wait if god strikes down ppl for working on sunday then how come we arent all dead???

  • at least Maher was only 3 books off... o'reilly wasnt even in the correct testament!!! romans??? please shut up idiot...

  • somebody please shut o'reilly up!!! he looks as stupid as he sounds, and he DOESNT EVEN KNOW BIBLICAL VERSE!!!

  • lol from looking first at the comments i thought maher won but bill o'reilly killed that punk in the debate

  • O'Reilly doesn't even know what a parable is. lol

  • Was O'Reilly's defense to Maher the fact that the bible verse didn't say anything about a neighbor? hahaha

  • Matthew, Mark, Luke and God??? o.O

  • Comment removed

  • As O'Rielly is clearly a world-class douchebag, and is very popular in America, what does that say about many Americans?

  • Bill O'reilly is a stupid smug cunt

  • @MrWhingeypants intelligence at its finest...good comment bro, nothing to say?

  • @therealTHR33DEE nothing to say? I said it, you mongoloid. You replied my post "bro". Bill O'reilly really has nothing to contribute to society. He brings intelligent people on to his show only for himself to talk over them when they are trying to give him a legitimate response of their cause and understandings.

  • @MrWhingeypants Hence I believe that O'reilly is a smug cunt.

  • hahah O'reilly actually was ok on this one. Maher very disapointing it looks like you dont know the bible

  • Love your neighbor... But your neighbor better not be a witch, a homosexual, or working on a sunday.

There is no mention of a hell in the old testament. It's not until gentile jesus meek and mild that the idea of eternal punishment for finite transgressions is introduced. Thanks JC!

  • Go the Atheist ....you make sense

  • i know how our planet came here i know how the moon got here ? isnt anyone watching national geographic anymore ?

  • LOL. Bill O'Reilly is really dumb.

  • this is retarted

  • Comment removed

  • SMH SMH SMH, *face palm!* @ both sides.

  • Its sad to hear the remarks from those who hate God that bad. What in the world has God done to you? He gave His only begotten Son because of His love for his creation and in return we treat Him like trash. "SHAME ON YOU"

  • @foreverinchrist1: Why the fuck would an atheist hate a god? If they don't believe such a thing exists, why would they hate it? Your claim makes absolutely no sense.

You have the right to believe what you want, but if you intend to preach on a public forum, expect to be ridiculed for your nonsensical claims.

By the way, it's 'too bad'.

  • @chinopisces Good answer, but your answer goes as boomeran against you, Why does Atheist hate God, if he says God doesnt exist? Why dont you leave us in peace? You are proof that God exist. I love God bks he exists and accepted me, you hate God, bks you has been rejected.

  • @xchris1800

Atheists don't hate God, they just don't believe in the concept and reject the very idea that God exists. You talk as if they believe God exists and chose to hate on him. Poor logic.

  • @xchris1800: You're an idiot.

We don't hate your pathetic excuse of a god. We just reject him outright. It is not possible to hate something you don't believe exists, but it is possible to think that the people that do are out of their minds.

We will leave you in peace when you leave US in peace. When you stop brainwashing children and telling them they're worthless without a god. When you stop imposing your beliefs on others in violent fashion. I can go on and on.

    Your claims are just silly.

  • @chinopisces SAYS="imposing your beliefs on others in a violent way"

    ------------------

Where are Christians using violence ?

  • @ekajeht USA for instance

  • @aussiesam01 SAYS="USA'

    -------------

    LOL

Now why your country is such a shit hole.

You idiots have no idea what you are talkiing about!

Name just ONE act of violence carried out by christians in America.

  • @ekajeht

Oh yes, sucha shithole that it ranks as number one or number two in the World as the best country to live in or migrate to. So I guess you lose that one.

As for naming ONE act of violence carried out by Xians in the USA. There are so many, go look them up for yourself, it's so easy to find so don't expect me to do all your work for you, lazy bastard. To get you started try this one just as a for instance:

    atheism.about.com/library/FAQs/christian/blfaq_viol_modernamerica.htm

  • @ekajeht: Seems like others have answered your question for me.

Are you so ignorant of your own religion that you are unaware of its past atrocities? Ever heard of the Inquisition, the Salem Witch Trials, or perhaps the Crusades?

Forget violence. How about the pope telling people in Africa that wearing condoms is immoral? Or the fact that they have convinced most people to mutilate the genitals of their male offspring? It's sick, and your jesus is not kind enough to justify such nonsense.

  • @chinopisces None of that has ever been done in the church I belong to.

My church doesn't condone any of your claims.

So you picking out a cult and saying ALL christians act this way shows how narrow minded and out of touch with reality you are.

  • 5:52 So killing jews in the desert for working on a Sunday is fine. Glad you cleared that up for us Bill.

  • i like how o'reilly finishes. haha the passage in which God orders the death of men is from Exodus, not Deuteronomy haha. o'reilly is an idiot.

  • debates' are great a great way to try and get questions anserwed but thier needs to be more defining of those questions from those resouces then from the minds that dont understand.

  • Mr. Myer doesn't understand the Scripture, Yet he will quote erroneous statements that he has no clue about. Now you see why non- christians should never bebate Scripture.

  • @foreverinchrist1: Screw the scripture. I reject it completely with extreme prejudice. A book written by barbaric nomads should receive no credibility whatsoever.

  • @chinopisces Well my friend thats your right, so enjoy yourself. I have a right to say what I say and if you don't like it well, TO BAD!!! I believe what I said and since I do believe the Scriptures, that my business. Have a nice day......

  • “Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them; and no man ever had a distinct idea of the trinity. It is the mere Abracadabra of the mountebanks calling themselves the priests of Jesus.”

    ― Thomas Jefferson

  • maher is wrong, that scripture from deutoronomy deosnt say kill thy neighour if he breaks the sabbath, thats a lie (it says anyone who breaks that or any other commandmend shall be "cut off" from his people, not kill and that is under a civil magistrate, not neighbour, and theres also a remission for these sins in the law), and second, the bible maes it totally clear that the commandmends given to israel in the desert is NOT for any other people than them.

  • @geiroffenberg: Deuteronomy is full of bullshit and its many translations include 'kill' being replaced by 'removed'. That aside, what about the laws where you should stone to death an unruly child, or rape victims must marry the rapist, or killing a conquered tribe and keeping their female virgins?

Your second point is moot because supposedly jesus himself said that the ten commandments are valid and are to be obeyed. And Jews would disagree with you about it being specific to Israelites.

  • @chinopisces good points, but wrong. jews do not and have never thought the law of moses is for gentiles. you have to go trough a difficult conversion process for that. You are right, the ten commandments should not be broken but the ten commandments and the law of moses are two different laws according to the bible. The law of moses itself states it...so read about it sometime. One is given to the world and is unchangeable, the other are 613 precepts to israel and was changed many times.

  • @geiroffenberg: Regardless of Jewish law being specific themselves and not gentiles, who gives a damn? All that says is that the god of the bible is racist. None of these laws are at all ethical, by any means.

I've read the bible fairly extensively, and still find no reason to believe any of it is true. I see no need to debate you. The outcome will be the result of any typical atheist/theist debate. I'm not interested in your position, nor am I interested in presenting mine.

  • @chinopisces well, YOU said jews would disagree and used it as a argument, and my point is you are totally wrong. So "who cares"? You apparantly did, but suddenly don't anymore, lol.

  • @geiroffenberg: Actually, some Jews do disagree. They actually believe that all humans must follow these laws.

I don't care. Never did. Just because I'm commenting on a subject I find frivolous, doesn't mean I actually care about it.

  • @chinopisces "kill" is translated "kill" an "cut off" is translated "cut off". It is not the same word or the same concept. But i think you believe what you want to believe about this anyway. Yes what about these other laws that you so incorrectly quote? we could go trough them one by one, but why not ask a rabbi? Or not, becuase i assure you the truth would conflict with what you learn at infidels dot org. Bill maher is no matter what still misquoting and is still wrong.

  • Where are the clips that show the positive and intelligent side of Bill O'Reilly? Oh wait, there aren't any because he is one of the morons that Maher mentioned. Better question: why am I watching this trainwreck?

  • Anybody still listening to a guy who said this gem,"tide goes in, tide goes out, perfect harmony, no one can explain it." Just because he doesn't know it and can't explain doesn't mean it was gods doing. Freakin Idiot!!!

  • Wow ! Is this really Maher? He stumbling around like Forrest Gump in a minefield. He finally reaches the quicksand and his argument ends up gurgling until he's totally submerged.

  • @mistressofaminer -- Maher was on a video feed, hence a time delay. He paused so he could hear O Riley's entire sentence, but O Riley when he speak or interupt you, he doesn't allow anyone to interupt him and he will not hear what the other person was saying. O Riley lost all respect when he said this," tide goes in, tide goes out, no one can explain it." -- The words of a true freakin idiot!!!

  • @goNDirish03 agreed

  • I hate both of these guys!!!!!! arghhhh!!! can someone please tell them to shut the f*** up!!! BOTH ARE ZIONISTS, ILLUMINATIS.

  • @ericnkenny Wow,you're comment doesn't sound crazy or anything.

  • -_- I really REALLY don't like bill o'reilly. He's such a jerk!! You know I find religion to be lacking common sense. So yes I find religious people to have at least a little stupidity. Sue me! And why exactly would I want to associate myself with religion anyways? The homophobic, homicidal, jealous, self loathing institute that is religion is sick and unhealthy.

  • Bill Maher is ridiculous, he is one of the most condescending, pedantic hypocrites i've ever seen. This interview is the one exception where Bill O'Reilly can shout over his interviewee because Maher is a genuine idiot.

  • FUCK BILL O'REILLY

  • Noah's arc wasn't a parable
