  • Great video!

  • Hi there! I'm wondering what's going on with the right Fuel Quantity Indicator at 2:55?

  • @JetA1863 It was a malfunctioning fuel gauge.

  • Im not a pilot nowhere close im only 15 but i aspire to be one and i just have a question, how come it always seems like the plane accelerates after it touches down?

  • @GagneCarter1217 the thrust reversers kick in to help slow the plane down.

  • Cool vid

  • Very nice video and landing guys! The Gulfstream seem s to be a nice plane to fly...

Just a little qurious...what was your approach and landing speed?

  • @TheLenne12 landing speeds range from 140kts to 119kts, depending on weight, I don't recollect what was the speed here, but I would guess it was close to 122 because of the low weight on arrival having burnt most of the fuel.

  • Hi I fly the JFK to Paris route for American. This video brings back so many memories of snow landings. Anyway nice video and great landing.

  • That's one of the best video's I've seen in a long time, definately shows how important the technology in ILS landing is, and the skill and nerve pilots have flying practically blind. Great Job!

  • LOUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD :(

  • All I can say is pilots kick ass!

  • question: what was the flashing red light at about 8:35

  • I guess you have to have a lot of trust in your equipment in those conditions.

  • Great job,amazing skill.

  • These are absolutely my favorite type of videos. Thanks for sharing!

  • nice!

  • You ever fly a private jet where the wealthy passengers had sex parties in the cabin?

  • Two things 1. I love it when the frogs have to speak english, and 2. That is why I flew for the Navy, the carriers tend to stay away from cold weather.

  • My right ear appears not to be working, how odd.

  • @thewizardofrhythm you should get that checked....... Anyone know what electronic flight bag he's using?

  • You guys made the crossing without any stops? What was your reserve when you got there?

  • 7:59 anti Christ runway

  • It would have been "fun" if the entire board just went black in this weather, no navigation no height no nothing..

  • Very beautiful landing ...

  • Lufthansa pilot: (asks for clearance in German)

Tower: Official aviation language is English, please use it.

LH pilot: I'm a German pilot flying a German plane for a German airline in Germany. Why can I not use my native tongue?

British Airways pilot: Because you lost the bloody war, ya wanker!

LeBourget needs to invest in a snowblower. That was pathetic to have an active runway at a major airport in that condition

  • @SenorSpode Here in Brazil the aviation language is in portuguese.

  • @YagoRj357 That must be for flights that both originate and terminate in Brazil; I have access to the ICAO document which effected on January 1, 2008 that says all international flights are required to use English. IN other words, any communications between a tower and flights originating from/departing for foreign airports must use English. That's where I slipped up.

  • @SenorSpode Yes, you're right. The portuguese is only used in flights that originate and terminate in Brazil.

    Thanks for information.

  • @YagoRj357 No prob, I learned something as well. Also I learned that Portuguese is the language of Brazil, never knew that. Everyone wins!

  • @SenorSpode Hahaha.. yeah (:

  • great video, keep em coming

  • Corporate pilot's life may be far from perfect but it is surely AWESOME!

  • That a great landing keep up the good work

  • I really love your videos man but one question, are you from the royal saudi family or something? or you just fly for a private company ... all the best and keep up the good work :)

  • looks like a RDS transmet

  • beautiful landing... :)

  • Great video. That's what instrument flying's all about!

  • Nice Video.

  • what a great landing

  • What are the avionics on the yoke? I flew the G2 and it only had a 5 hour endurance. G2B was lighter then G3 with same power. A beast. Nice video!

  • What a good landing! I'm glad I'd discovered your channel :)

  • The only thing that concerns me in this video is "You don't want to do a go around do you?" "No, hell no" Sounds like a bit of get-there-itis. Not sure if that is the case, but please be careful? We are low enough on pilots as it is...

  • wow I always thought runways would have to be extremely cleared of snow for landing

  • does RR stand for something royal ?

  • @ZA1Nable This is the aircraft registration number. It has had it for a number of decades, and there is no significance to it or a meaning.

  • @ZA1Nable

    Rolls Royce Engines

  • how come your minimums were 500 AGL?

  • @tabu99 Decision hight for 07 is 460 AGL

  • Very nice video !

  • Hi guys!!! One question here. How long can you fly Gulfstream II without refueling? Thanks in advance!! Great video by the way!!! I would love to become a pilot one day, but I think I'm too old for that!!!

  • @nbkillan1982 This is a GII B, which means it has GIII wings, so it does 7 + hours, I'm not sure what a strait GII can do, my guess is less than 5 hours, maybe if someone on here knows, they would let us know?

  • @soquan My guess would be about two weeks.

  • @nbkillan1982

    Gulfstream IIB aircraft information:

    Range: 3560-3720 nm

    Average Ask Price - May 2011: $1,595,000

Normal Cruise Speed: 460 ktas (knots true airspeed)

    Max. Cruise Speed: 500 ktas

Service Ceiling Max. Weight: 43,000 ft.

    Years Manufactured: 1967-1979

The GIIB is a GII with a GIII wing. This wing is eight feet longer and carries 4,961 pounds more fuel with a 921 nautical mile increase in range.

  • if the instruments fail they are screwed......

  • OMG ILS ILS ILS!!!!

  • @seatgurus no they dont. They must use english on request from a pilot but can use the local language

  • I miss the old Gulfstreams. If only we had EFB's when the 2 and 3 earned my checks. Gulfstreams were always my favorite airplane to hand fly. Handles like a Porche with the heavy feel of a Caddy and better Ref speeds than some turboprops. Sounds like she started to get away from you guys after touchdown.. Care to explain. Couldnt see the panel to get an idea.

  • @Learjetjock Yes the GII is wonderful to fly, and no, it was a normal landing, the pilot not flying just repeated ( with some excitement ) the request of the pilot flying to hold the yoke down while he moved his hand to the tiller.

  • That's some fine piloting guys! Always enjoy your vids soquan.

  • Your an idiot - I could fly better in my sleep - FLYJUSTRITE ! You didnt compensate at all - you had the AF on all the way - who cares about your stall - your very dangerous - and stupid.

  • This is really cool. I couldn't understand that french controller though at all : (

  • @SgtRevan dont all ATC have to be in english!! what if you dont speak any french!

  • @SgtRevan she talks french some of the video time, but her voice is distorded all the time ;)

  • @SgtRevan Smarty-pants! :-P
