Im not a pilot nowhere close im only 15 but i aspire to be one and i just have a question, how come it always seems like the plane accelerates after it touches down?
@TheLenne12 landing speeds range from 140kts to 119kts, depending on weight, I don't recollect what was the speed here, but I would guess it was close to 122 because of the low weight on arrival having burnt most of the fuel.
That's one of the best video's I've seen in a long time, definately shows how important the technology in ILS landing is, and the skill and nerve pilots have flying practically blind. Great Job!
Two things 1. I love it when the frogs have to speak english, and 2. That is why I flew for the Navy, the carriers tend to stay away from cold weather.
@YagoRj357 That must be for flights that both originate and terminate in Brazil; I have access to the ICAO document which effected on January 1, 2008 that says all international flights are required to use English. IN other words, any communications between a tower and flights originating from/departing for foreign airports must use English. That's where I slipped up.
I really love your videos man but one question, are you from the royal saudi family or something? or you just fly for a private company ... all the best and keep up the good work :)
The only thing that concerns me in this video is "You don't want to do a go around do you?" "No, hell no" Sounds like a bit of get-there-itis. Not sure if that is the case, but please be careful? We are low enough on pilots as it is...
Hi guys!!! One question here. How long can you fly Gulfstream II without refueling? Thanks in advance!! Great video by the way!!! I would love to become a pilot one day, but I think I'm too old for that!!!
@nbkillan1982 This is a GII B, which means it has GIII wings, so it does 7 + hours, I'm not sure what a strait GII can do, my guess is less than 5 hours, maybe if someone on here knows, they would let us know?
I miss the old Gulfstreams. If only we had EFB's when the 2 and 3 earned my checks. Gulfstreams were always my favorite airplane to hand fly. Handles like a Porche with the heavy feel of a Caddy and better Ref speeds than some turboprops. Sounds like she started to get away from you guys after touchdown.. Care to explain. Couldnt see the panel to get an idea.
@Learjetjock Yes the GII is wonderful to fly, and no, it was a normal landing, the pilot not flying just repeated ( with some excitement ) the request of the pilot flying to hold the yoke down while he moved his hand to the tiller.
Your an idiot - I could fly better in my sleep - FLYJUSTRITE ! You didnt compensate at all - you had the AF on all the way - who cares about your stall - your very dangerous - and stupid.
Great video!

Lufthansa pilot: (asks for clearance in German)
Tower: Official aviation language is English, please use it.
LH pilot: I'm a German pilot flying a German plane for a German airline in Germany. Why can I not use my native tongue?
British Airways pilot: Because you lost the bloody war, ya wanker!
LeBourget needs to invest in a snowblower. That was pathetic to have an active runway at a major airport in that condition
SenorSpode 5 months ago
@SenorSpode Here in Brazil the aviation language is in portuguese.

@SenorSpode Yes, you're right. The portuguese is only used in flights that originate and terminate in Brazil.
Thanks for information.
