Great lesson! I bought a guitar 2 months ago. I practice every day. I've learned some chords, but my left arm hurts at the elbow and I'm getting a weird thumb knuckle. I think it's tendinitis.

I just do not understand how people can playe relaxedly with the a pick. I always tend to lift my pick-shoulder. How to keep that shoulder down and focus on the wrist? Been practising for a whole year just to hold my shoulder down. I play country flatpicking, but not at all sure about that.

Did you bother to watch the video? She was playing a basic 12 bar blues shuffle in the beginning, and then spent the rest of video teaching how to play it. What the hell would you need tabs for?

The "little tiny solo" is a simple 2 note lick. The sooner you get away from tabs, the better off you'll be as a guitar player.

i just got my gutair and when i put my fingers on the cords it wont let me play the nots that i am holding down

im assuming your left handed... so with your left hand, make sure your holding down the strings hard enough.. it might hurt but you'll get use to it after about a week... if your getting a buzzing sound, its b-cuz you're prob. touching other strings... make sure your not touching any other strings... it will also help if you bend "out" your wrist a little... sound better now???

if you know the basic pentatonic you should be able to figure out what she playes at the start just watch her fingers iv been playing six years and after a while stuff like that comes naturally it looks hard but the blues is the easiest music to play on guitar doesnt take long to get good at just have to practice if i had a web cam id love to show you what she plays at the start
