This is why i love mugen. You never know how strong your opponant will be and gives you a great chanllage. Great vid by the way, its these kind of vids that make ppl love mugen.
Good finish. Those aren't chains, they are link combos, which are performed as soon as a move finishes. For example with Cammy you can do 2 standing hard punches in a row. The timing is extremely strict, but Waru's AI chars do them so easily, it's inhuman.
My apologies but, from what I see, Warusaki's characters aren't really that cheap. In fact, compared to the real game and tournament players, the Ryu shown here didn't do anything all that special.
Still, you played well in this, and I do like the connection you made with the Hadoken at the end. Well played.
play against him in EX groove and ull see what im talkin bout, he parries and just defends like 90% of your hits and always counters when you make a move. Not even a tourny player is that smart. Also his chaining ability, if you try it yourself you cannot chain lk,lp with mp,mk as ryu pulls off constantly
Good tourney players actually are that smart in they're playing style; the best players are the ones that can read their opponents very well.
The thing is, though, that no tourney player's going to use EX groove in a battle (not allowed). So, for the sake of the groove, I can see how he may be considered cheap.
Besides, being computer A.I., they're known for pulling off stuff that we can't really do. Gill from SFIII: TS is proof of that.
I know what you mean. I guess it's just a part of Warusaki3's style of making chars... they've got all of the fair, balanced nuances of their original game when you actually play as them, but, when you go up against their AIs, their game is raised, with impossible-to-actually-execute-humanly tactics (such as the parrying/Just Defending and comboability nuances you mentioned) being added for an extra level of challenge. :) Perhaps it was just intentional.
im sure it was but its pretty annoying cuz usually with good ais you should be able to pull off the stuff that the AI does, unfortunately its not the case for this. Its bascially facing like facing someone who knows what your going to do and when your going to do it
In any event, I absolutely LOVED seeing your combo chains with P.O.T.S.'s Ryu once more. You're still one of the best guys I've seen play with him (next to JudgeSpear and a few other cats).

where did you get the blue hair palette for ryu?
Falco098 4 years ago
It was from an earlier version of POTS' Ryu. He doesn't have this palette anymore.

Anyways, that's the end of my rant. 5 stars.

Some of Warusaki chars have too good AI(Shin Gouki),but his CVS Ryu never looked that strong.Nice fight,Pots Ryu is unmatched creation.
NightHawk578 4 years ago
After Warus most recent update most of his chars now have just as deadly AIs as S.Gouki and G.Rugal

i just think post's chars have too extras moves, that's why it's easy to defeat waru's chars and waru's chars have good ai(some chars)
