le son est produit par un module electronique monté sur le modèle. Ce module contient des enregistrement digitaux des sons du vrai engin (moteur diesel, moteur treuils,etc). il est paramétré pour varier en intensité et rapidité suivant la variation de régime des moteurs du modèle.

oui ces grues soulèvent environ le même poids que les vraies (rapporté à l'echelle 1:15 bien entendu).

evidemment la portée dépend (comme sur les vraies) de l'angle de la flèche et des contrepoids montés.

RC cranes like this one cannot be purchased in the shops. So you won't find it anywhere. The only solution is to build one yourself.

As already said many times, you cannot find this crane in a shop anywhere. It is a selfmade model, the only one existing for now. But you can buy a RC Truck (like for esemple Tamiya plastic kits, available in most RC model shop.

How does the boom and winch operate? Is it by electric motors? Is this the same model that is in the video by modellkran1. What is the scale?

all is operated by hydraulic cylinders and electric motors. scale is 1:15. for further informations check my website (the adress is in the video titles) where you may find all the specifications and detailed pictures of this and my other 3 cranes.

Did you buy or make the hydraulic cylinders and pump yourself?

You may find hydraulic pumps and cylinders for sale (for exemple by Leimbach modellbau in Germany) but they have not enough power (10 bar maximum pressure) for this type of model. For some crane you also need extra sized (bigger and longer) cylinders, so building your own cylinders is sometime mandatory.

How about the engine sounds? Are they recordings then a different sound clip for every drive setting?

Do you run the drive for the semi wheels and dozer off of hydraulic motors or electric motors? I want to, someday build one completely functional with a scale engine in with an actual tranny.

engine sounds are digital samples, recorded on a real diesel turbo-charged engine. The sound may change according to speed of the motors (the winch motor and the main motor) and other variations in the working conditions. All the motors are hydraulic or electro-hydraulics.
