  • this is fucked up

  • CHAOS REIGNS

  • because he is the son of god. why are you so stubborn.

  • Because of 5:47 he apologized in Bad Lieutenant

  • Nikos Kazantzakis the writer was excommunicated by the Greek Orthodox church.

  • @GTpanik because Jesus was making a point, we've all messed up and no one is perfect. Sin is sin, no matter how big or small. But because he was perfect, he didn't throw the stone because he embodies and is grace and forgiveness. He set the example, to love those who have wronged us or do wrong, cause in the end no ones perfect

  • @Drewberdooba

Seriously, then explain why if he was perfect, and taught us to be pacifist that in Matt 10:34 he said that he came not to send peace, but war with a sword. Luke 22:35-36 Jesus told his disciples to get swords. Why is that? Plus, Jesus was an mortal man when Ecclesiastes 7:20 stated that no man comes without sin. What make Jesus an exception?

  • @GTpanik taught to be pacifists?!! Yet in Luke 14 he compares discipleship with war negotiations. Even Luke 21 of the end. Nowhere will you find Jesus saying to be pacifists. Ecc is clear, there is a time for war AND a time for peace. And the 'context' of the sword [you throw in the word war]. He is talking about HIM and His message being devisive. Christ was not only a man. John 8:46 Jesus challenges people to prove He has any sin. He knew He was sinless...

  • @firebirdhome

But if Jesus existed, then where is his tomb?

  • @GTpanik - A tomb would be beside the point considering His body wouldn't be in it as we believe in His Resurrection. However, if you ask a simple location, the hill of Golgotha still exists, and must be within a 1-2 hour load bearing journey. I don't put alot of stock in the labelled places today, but suffice it to say I think within a 1 mile radius of the crucifixion scene.

  • @firebirdhome

It is not beside the point do to the point that major of your ''holy'' people have that same story. Muhammad, Bedderu, Zeus, and others have the same exact story than Jesus.

  • @GTpanik Not true at all.

  • @wildstyle2192

    EXPOUND ON THAT

  • @GTpanik For one, Zeus was part of a polytheistic belief system. Jesus was monotheistic. Muhammad never claimed to be God or the Son of God, which Jesus did. Those are the more fundamental differences, and there are others, so I don't see how you can claim they are the "same exact story."

  • @wildstyle2192

Wow! All of them have the ''exact same story'' on the account of all of them was suppose to be the light of the world, born on Dec,25th, and all of that other crap. All of the so-called attributes that Jesus have, all the other people had. That is what I meant about exact same story.

  • @GTpanik Too bad the Christian texts don't even mention December 25th, nor do the stories about those other deities. I think you need to use something called evidence.

  • @wildstyle2192

I think you need to practice on what you preach. You haven't provided any evidence for me to believe that Jesus even existed. Also, I would suggest for you to take the Dec. 25th issue on to the Pope, Father, and ministers who ALL preach that.

  • @GTpanik That's a matter of culture, not theology. Learn the difference. Also, I'm not here to present evidence for the existence of any deity. You make the assumption that I'm Christian, which is the false dilemma fallacy. I merely addressed your absurd claim that they're all the same story.

  • @wildstyle2192

I never even said that you was a Christian or not. Don't put words in my mouth. I don't care if you are or not. But if you can't prove on your statement, then why are you talking then? If you aren't a Christian, then why are you talking then? That don't make sense.

  • @GTpanik Apparently, non-Christians can't be interested in religious studies in your mind..

That's ridiculous. You're telling me to prove Jesus's existence, which is irrelevant to your claims, which you haven't supported at all. I just pointed out that Dec 25th isn't part of original Christian belief, so that your claim is bull.

  • @wildstyle2192

If that is the case, then I shouldn't be interested because I'm not a Christian. Your comment is bull. I asked for anyone to prove on the existence of Christ since we live in a ''Christian" country. You are correct on that Dec.25th wasn't part of early Christian practice, but since a lot of people doesn't know that, it is best to ask the question so we can all have an better understand of the original practice of this religion.

  • @GTpanik I think you need to reread my statement for it's original intent.

You're making unsupported claims and asking ridiculous questions on a video about a movie. I suggest you look elsewhere. Plus, if you say you "don't care" what I believe, then don't come lashing out the next minute saying my comments are bull.

  • @wildstyle2192

If I make unsupported claims, then why won't you prove it? I ask stupid questions? How can it be stupid when you trying to get a better understand of an confusing religion? If you can't answer it, then be quiet then.

  • @GTpanik You made unsupported claims regarding Dec 25th. Please point to an ancient Greek or NT passage that mentions that date as the birthdate of Jesus, Muhammad, or any other deity/prophet you mentioned. You can't elaborate on your unsupported claim, so you're relying on subjective labels like "confusing."

  • @wildstyle2192

Obviously, you don't read. I KNOW that Dec.25th is not Jesus' or any other '' righteous'' person. I asked if Jesus was real, then how come other people like Mithra, Krishna, Bedderu, and others have if not but similar stories. None of them existed. So, before you make an redundant comment towards me, you need to learn how to read.

  • @GTpanik Earlier you said they had the "exact same story," including Dec 25th, and now you say they're merely "similar." I call a flip flop there. Now you're accusing me of being illiterate, yet you can't see your numerous grammatical errors.

  • @wildstyle2192

My grammatical errors. HA!! It's funny that you European love to start a grammar debate. I didn't know I need to use grammar here. I personally don't care about your grammar. English is not my language. Yes, I can conceit on my mistake about the word ''exact''. But as it be may, it doesn't excuse the similarities of all of the people I've mentioned.

  • hehhe.. thought this was charmed...... anyway i watched this instead kinda interesting

  • If Jesus was perfect, then why didn't he cast the first stone?

Ecclesiastes 7:20 states that NO MAN WHO DOES GOOD IS WITHOUT SIN. Remember in Matt 12:31, if you without sin, then cast the stone.

  • @GTpanik LOL why didn't He?! Because NONE of them could! The law states that the man AND woman must be stoned together, they caught them in the VERY act it says!! Their sin was the condemnation of the one woman for her and the man, which is not what the Law required. They purposely chose the woman, but let the man go. They approached Christ with sin on their hands from the start...

  • @firebirdhome

What makes Jesus different than other prophets?

  • @GTpanik - if you mean the prophets of the OT, it is because He was the one they prophecied about. If you mean in comparison to prophets of the great religions of the world, it is His Person and Message that make Him unique. Jesus is God in human form, and the Message was God loves mankind enough to save us and completed all the work, all we need to do is accept it. We are all on the same level. And none of us can earn anything. It's already done. That is Good News...

  • @firebirdhome

Your bible in general is an copy from the Enuma Elish and other Babylonian texts. But how can Jesus be God, and he a prophet?

  • @GTpanik - the canon of Scripture has had a 3,000 year journey and I find such an accusation of its integrity laughable. As far as Jesus being God and a prophet, you ask that after creating in impassable gorge. If the Bible is plagiarism in origins then any reference to it at all is mute. Tell me the 4 or 5 paragraphs of the entire Bible that you deem credible and I'll see if there is anything I can do with it....

  • @firebirdhome his followers beilieve in him. why dont you pic a fight at mohammed or buddha you dumb fuck

  • what the hell are you talking about? Respond to my posts, not mysterious voices in your lonely head....

  • This Movie is Badass really, I enjoy it everytime I watch it, & i'm not religous at all, great story & outlook on the whole Jesus concept.

  • william dafoe ftw!

  • Great movie. Just a fiction, but I seem to agree with the director's interpretations.

  • @Hyslopify yumadbro?

  • Am I messed up if at 1:32 I just think "oh cool, helicopter music?"

  • kisses jesus .

  • I believe the theme of this movie (that Jesus was tempted to run away from his crucifixion) is the foundation of the true story of Jesus. His group was probably tagged by Pilate as dangerous rebels. The normal way to deal with groups like that was to simply decapitate it, i.e. kill the leader and the followers would scatter. If they couldn't kill the leader, they killed the followers instead. Jesus didn't run away like other leaders would've. He accepted crucifixion so his friends didn't have to

  • @KayBeeEee1983 that sounds about right. his message was also to face your fears. if you live in the shadow there is no redemption.

  • This movie made me realize how powerful the message of the Christ really is.

    Wonderful.

  • there was a firefight!!!

  • Thanks for posting this up, I had too see this for myself after watching a documentary on it, looked good.

  • awesome movie and thought provoking. haunts my dreams.

  • Barbara Hershey..yum

  • much fucking better then passion im an aitheist and i love this fucking movie

  • @halloweenfan92 i had a dream i was dying as a kid. jesus came to help me. he is real and powerful if you believe in him. but its ok if you don't , he believes in you.

  • @halloweenfan92 I am afraid that so far no movie concerning the subject of His Holiness can compare to The Passion of The Christ. Now this is just my opinion and nothing more my friend.

  • @halloweenfan92 - this Jesus seemed like he was always on an acid trip with his eyes that would of made Charles Manson look pious. The flame archangel was a cool idea. As a Christian I would have enjoyed the Passion without the high Catholic Mary devotions sprinkled all over. But top notch for finally showing a bit more realism of how gory crucifixion was. Hollywood versions are so clean, even this film...

  • @halloweenfan92 Agreed.

  • yessssssssssssssssssssssssss!!! Thank you

  • A very underrated movie.

  • thanks for uploading this.

  • badass! i can't believe somebody finally uploaded this movie, thanks a bunch man!
