I hate to say this, but I prefer The Notebook's kiss, when Noah and Allie kiss in the rain. I personally didn't like this kiss. If you think about it, it was hypocrisy. If you've watch the play or the movie, as she's approaching him to kiss him, she's singing, "Beautiful creature of darkness, what kind of life have you known? God gave me the courage to show you you're not alone." But happens? She leaves w/ Raoul, leaving him alone. I love Phantom of the Opera, but I've always hated the ending.

I find it to be a beautiful, yet tragic romance between Christine and the Phantom. Screw Raoul, go and get him out of the picture. People wonder why Erik turned Christine away and pushed her onto Raoul. It was only because he knew the mob was out to kill him and he loved her so much he could not stand to see her hurt should she try to stop them. He knew he was as a dead man and the only way to save her life was to sacrifice himself. This IS the BEST movie kiss EVER! So heartbreaking, tho. The saddest part is, she loves him deeply, too, obviously- but she's confused and afraid.
