Two questions.

Have you ever used a green screen for these types of animations and what is your preferred frame rate?

youtube puts ads up whenever you use a song that you don't own copywrite to, instead of pulling your video all together

i have a friend who knows green screen and i will make a video for him to mess with soon

the camera i use is an older sony hi-8 camcorder and already has the stop motion feature built in, i'd have to check to see what it's frame rate is, i speed them up a little with the editing

i get clay from pearl art store usually, i'm going to start using plasticine on some vids but it's more expensive

Thanks for the reply. Your work is pretty cool. I was thinking that if I were to try any stop motion I'd use my digital still camera and then edit the frames together in adobe.
