Shotgun Messiah were tragically underrated, both in their hair-metal origins as well as their industrial evolution. I personally think it's cool that Tim Skold went on to join Marilyn Manson, as well as KMFDM, and it's awesome that Zinny Zan is still out there kicking ass.

depends on the band either you have treble all the way up with your presence up too, and you gotta have reverb and an echo. but some bands like ratt, dokken, poison,, guns n roses use Eb all the other use standard besides motley crue and slaughter they use full step

I think most 80s hair metal bands used standard E tuning...some tuned all 6 strings down half a step like poison but it doesnt really make a huge difference if you did or not....It seems all bands tune down nowadays....maybe thats why I dont like most of them! LOL
